There is a subscription box for everyone these days and if you’re a keen gardener or want to make the most out of your outdoor (and indoor) space, why not try Seed Pantry‘s Grow Club Discovery Box?
Online retailer Seed Pantry has a monthly ‘Grow Club‘ where you can select the Discovery Box (6 items) or the Food & Flower Box (10 items). You can fully customise both of these boxes by choosing what you’d like to receive from a large selection on their website. The range is big and varied, and is also based on seasonal choices so everything that you’re sent is ready for you to plant which makes gardening super easy, especially if you’re a beginner!
If you’d prefer a surprise selection, simply sit back and let Seed Pantry choose for you – the choice is up to you. You can:-
- Make choices anytime from the 1st to 17th. Cut off date is the 17th of each month.
- Boxes are sent out from the 12th to the 20th of each month and take 2 days to arrive.
- You’ll receive a reminder email each month to make box choices if you wish to do this.
Here’s what I chose for my July box which comes complete with handy growing instructions:-
Cactus & Succulents Mix
When I logged into my Seed Pantry account earlier this month to make my selections, I was really pleased to see that they had added some Cactus and Succulents options as I love creating displays with these to brighten up indoor areas. Many of the options had already sold out (you can see why they’re popular!), but I managed to select a Cactus and a Succulent for my box and I couldn’t be happier! These were carefully packaged in the box.
Flowers – Coneflower Echinacea Paradiso Dwarf Mixed and Delphinium Pacific Giant Mix
Next up, I chose two flower seed mixes; Coneflower Echinacea Paradiso Dwarf Mixed and Delphinium Pacific Giant Mix, Being seeds, these need to be grown in pots until they reach a certain height and then can be planted outdoors if desired. Full instructions are included.
Food – Basil and Cress
My last two choices this month were two packets of Food Seeds. Here I have some Basil and some Cress as I eat a lot of salad and enjoy fresh herbs in my meals, so it makes sense to have a go at growing my own!
