Scentful – July 2020

I love subscription boxes of all kinds but I think one of the most useful are fragrance sample subscription boxes! I have so many fragrance samples currently because of them and they are so handy for travelling and to keep in my handbag. So I was very happy to try a new-to-me fragrance subscription box, Scentful.

Scentful is a UK based fragrance sample subscription in which you’ll receive two 5ml designer fragrance samples each month along with an information card to explain each fragrance and the notes, from £10.95 per month. The July box contains fragrances from Dolce and Gabana and Emporio Armani.

Dolce and Gabana 3 L’Imperatrice EDT

I’ll start with the fragrance I haven’t tried previously, Dolce and Gabana 3 L’Imperatrice which contains notes of pink pepper, kiwi, rhubarb, jasmine, cyclamen, watermelon, sandalwood, musk and lemon. All of the notes are perfect for summer and it is a very light, floral and fruity fragrance that instantly reminds me of summer holidays! I think so many people would love this sweet and fruity fragrance at this time of the year.

Emporio Armani Diamonds EDP

The second fragrance and my favourite out of the two from the July 2020 box is Emporio Armani Diamonds. The fragrance contains notes of lychee, raspberry, rose, freesia, lily of the valley, amber, vanilla and vetiver – so many of my favourite notes. I tried this fragrance years ago and loved it but I’d forgotten how much. It’s such a classic feminine, floral but musky scent that I always want in my fragrance collection.
