If you enjoy perfume, or perhaps looking for a signature scent, Secret Scent Box is a great way to try out different perfumes.
Every month they send three spray vials of different perfumes, the perfect amount to last all month, meaning you can test at different times and occasions.
The box first right through the mailbox, and included are cards with scent notes, which is very useful for identifying your particular preferences.
All Saints – Incense City
This is a smoky, woody scent that I think is firmly in the unisex bracket. I found there was slight sweetness initially, which was very pleasant, then the cedar came through very fast. While I don’t quite get the incense scent, I think it has a slightly Gothic feel, it made me think of old ruined churches and distant bonfires. I’d say this is quite unique, warm, and a marvellous and unusual scent for autumn.
Calvin Klein – Eternity Reflections
In complete contrast to the first scent, this is vibrant, fruity, and slightly tropical. It starts out really quite sweet, but there’s a freshness as well, like a summer day on the beach, and the sandalwood base notes give it a much calmer and more sophisticated air after a little while. This is definitely a young, cheerful scent.
Police – Hot Pink
My first thought is that this perfume is very aptly named! It’s a new scent for 2023. Initially it’s incredibly sweet, there are some florals but I found the caramel incredibly strong. It does dry down with a little muskiness, which adds some depth, but overall it’s almost candy-like in its sweetness. I’d say this is a rather ‘girly’ scent, good for young women and definitely has a fun air about it.
