I thought the February YumeTwins box might be something Valentine’s-related, but actually it’s a much more fun and original theme – Project: Idol Parade!
This is a collaboration between Cinnamoroll and Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid sound bank that comes with a VR humanoid mascot, who has even performed live converts using computer-generated projection. It’s a super-popular vocaloid, has become part of popular culture and spawned all kinds of related merch and events.
This is a Hatsune Miku x Cinnamoroll Plushie. There are four different varieties, each featuring cute costumes in the trademark style and colours of Hatsune Miku. It’s a good size, very cute and squashy, and I love the little outfit she’s wearing, especially the cute Cinnamoroll teacup.
More Cinnamoroll goodies! There’s a cute Cinnamoroll Cup, part of the Sanrio character cup series with a pretty blue colour. There’s also a Cinnamoroll Frappe Charm. This is a cute charm for your phone or keychain in the shape of a little frappe cup complete with a whipped cream top. The lid even comes off which makes it a little container for tiny items.
Finally, we have another two useful accessories. There’s a pair of Vocaloid Chopsticks, which are clear plastic, complete with textured tips for grip, with a design of Hatsune Miku. Even more usefully, there’s an adorable Cinnamoroll Eco-Bag. This is one of those fantastic shopping bags that foiled down small so you can carry them around easily. This one even has a little clip so you can attach it to another bag. The design is adorable, showing Cinamoroll and the words ‘When the beat starts, the music sets my body moving’. What a perfect design for this musical-themed box!
