The latest box of goodness from Boxcitement has an ‘Under the Sea’ nautical theme and a colour scheme of fresh blues and hot orange for a bright and breezy blast of monthly fun.
As always there’s a great selection of products which are all good quality and well thought out. There’s some stationery, jewellery, crafting bits and pieces and this month even some toiletries and little badges.
So what’s in the box?
One thing I love about Boxcitement is that the people behind it really think about every detail that goes into it. The piece of jewellery this month is a neon coral necklace on a silver-coloured chain, but the small gift bag it comes in is just as special as it is perfectly matched to the tropical sea feel.
The necklace itself is fun and I love necklaces made out of acrylic like this. If I could change one slight thing it would be to have a finer chain as personally I find that a bit more wearable but that’s just me.
The coral theme continues to the craft item in the box, a stencil set. There’s a pre-cut plastic stencil and a ‘how to’ card and some suggestions of where to use it. I haven’t given this a go as I can’t think of anything I want to stencil yet but having used stencils before the quality is great and the pattern will work really well.
I love the stationery items in this month’s box. There are four nautical-themed notelet cards each with a brown envelope which are great and there’s also a blue notepad which fastens with a small anchor on elastic and comes with its own pen. All are really high quality and the notelets will come in really handy for lots of different occasions.
There’s also a ready-mounted picture of a heart made from shells which is really sweet. It’s ready to frame and would be perfect if you have a seaside-themed room or would look great in a bathroom or downstairs loo.
As the box is sea-related, it’s nice that there is something for your bath included in the box in the form of the Dead Sea Salts and wooden scoop. I loved relaxing in the bath with these and easing my aching muscles. The wooden scoop is something that will also become yet another fun bath toy for my little boy too!
Finally there is a set of four pin badges on keeping with the under the sea theme. These are really fun and would look great on a bag or satchel.
Overall I really liked this month’s box from Boxcitement. I don’t know how they keep coming up with such fun and well thought out and out together packages each month but I’m glad they do!
