Brownies are perhaps my all-time favourite dessert and like many, I enjoy trying different flavours and recipes. So you can imagine my delight when I came across The Boozie Brownie Co which combines two great loves of mine – brownies and alcohol!
Hand-baked in small batches in a rural artisan bakery based in Herefordshire, these brownies include only the best quality ingredients such as Belgian chocolate, salted butter and locally sourced free-range eggs. If this sounds tempting to you, you can purchase subscriptions to The Boozie Brownie Co in 3 month, 6 month or yearly blocks and each box will contain different unusual and decadent flavours for you to enjoy.
It’s worth noting that The Boozie Brownie Co also offer vegan-friendly subscriptions as well as non-boozy traditional brownies, so there’s something for everyone.
Inside the box, you’ll discover three thick slabs of brownies, individually wrapped to keep them as fresh as possible and clearly labelled with the ingredients listed on the back of each one.
Baileys
The most loved of all the creamy liqueurs, especially at Christmas, the Baileys Brownie contains 4% of the famous Irish Cream liqueur and it has a wonderfully rich and smooth flavour with rich dark chocolate.
Chocolate Orange & Cointreau
Another popular festive liqueur is used to make this one which perfectly marries together smooth Chocolate Orange with a 4% dash of Cointreau. Absolutely delicious!
Biscoff & Speculaas Liqueur
Saving my personal favourite to last, the Biscoff & Speculaas Liqueur brownie is surprisingly the one that I found the most festive overall. Not only does it contain Dark Chocolate, Biscoff biscuits, Biscoff spread and a more generous dose of Speculaas Liqueur (this time it’s 7%), but it has a lovely mix of spices with hints of Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg and Cloves. This is also one of the vegan flavours and it’s possibly one of the best brownies that I’ve ever tasted!
Thick and fudgy, these generously sized slabs of boozy brownies are the perfect gift to a loved one this Christmas or a tasty treat for yourself!
