My best day of the month had arrived!! It’s Glossybox day! I feel like a kid at Christmas when the postman knocks on the door with my box full of goodies. It takes me on average 4.5 seconds to rip open the outer cardboard box to reveal this months gorgeous box inside. September we have a Style Edition box which is designed differently to the normal pink box we get every month. I love it already!!
On opening the box itself Glossybox provide a leaflet of all the things in there on what each is, what it does, how much it costs, where to buy the product from and whether its full size or a sample.
Looking at the leaflet I can see that they have only gone and put 5 full sized products in. Absolute winner. I can’t wait to have a rummage and see exactly what I’ve got.
Ok, the products we have this month are:
- Bellápierre Shimmer powder
- Marsk—eyeshadow brush pro
- Maria Nila—Luminous Colour Hair Masque
- Invisibobble—Traceless hair ring
- Nails Inc—Nail polish
First thoughts on this selection = AMAZING
The Bellápierre shimmer powder is comes in like a dark grey colour with lots of shimmer. It has a great colour and has excellent staying power. Now being a mum of two young boys I probably wont get to wear this too often as going out has become a slight thing of the past for me! On the odd occasion I do get my glad rags on this will be my first choice of eyeshadow to wear.
I’m really pleased with the quality of the Marsk eyeshadow brush pro. The bristles are lovely and soft but also have the rigidity of a good brush that you know ill last you a long time.
The Luminous Colour Hair Masque the description for this says it is packed with nourishing, strengthening and protecting ingredients that enhance both coloured and natural hair. First impressions of this product was that it smells fantastic. It also boasts it is 100% so will be great for anyone who likes natural products. It is very easy to apply and it has left my locks luscious and generally feeling very healthy.
Now the Invisibobble. This is a traceless hair ring which means it wont leave kinks in your hair if you take it out after having it in for a while. Now unfortunately I haven’t been able to try this product as I have very short hair but my impression of this is it comes in a cute little box and looks like it could work. Might keep this and give it as part of a Xmas hamper to a friend.
And lastly, the Nails Inc nail polish. I love all things nail and I love this. I have had Nails Inc polishes before and they are great. The shade I’ve received is Uptown shade which is like a dusty pink colour. It applies beautifully onto the nail only needing one coat as it is a lovely thick polish. Great if your in a rush and quickly need to spruce up your nails. I think out of everything I’ve received this is my favourite
Overall, I’m very pleased with what I’ve received this month. 5 full sized products to add to my growing collection. Glossybox is a fabulous treat every month, especially for me where I find most of my day-to-day is pretty much the same, I feel like when this arrives I can stop being a busy mum for at least an hour of the day and pretend I’m being pampered in a 5 star spa!
It is also great if you fancy treating yourself but are on a budget, at £13.95 including postage it hardly breaks the bank and receive luxurious products that you would never think of buying before. Just to add the total of the contents of this box comes to a whopping £63, not bad for just over £10 what you buy it for.
Glossybox delivers 5 beauty products to your door in a luxurious box every month.
