With so many beauty boxes now on the subscription box market, it can be a difficult task choosing the right one for you, but Look Incredible have managed to stand out from the crowd by only including full-size products in their boxes. That’s right – if you’re fed up of receiving tiny samples and travel sizes in your beauty boxes, Look Incredible is definitely one to check out.
They offer two different subscription boxes which are delivered every month; a Standard Beauty Box which retails for £25 (incl p&p) and a Deluxe Beauty Box which costs £35 (incl p&p). Each box, regardless of which one you sign up to, will include five full-sized beauty products from leading, well-known brands that are stocked on the Look Incredible website. The main difference between the two is that the Deluxe box will feature more higher-end products, hence the extra cost.
This month I received the Standard Beauty Box, which comes in a plain black box adorned with a little bow and contained all of the following beauty products.
Living Proof Full Thickening Cream (RRP £14)
If you have fine hair like I do, you’ll know that thickening styling products can make a massive difference to your overall look and I love trying out new ones. Living Proof’s Full Thickening Cream is a lightweight styling cream product that you can use to help style fine, flat hair to make it look fuller and thicker. It’s free from silicones and safe for colour treated hair – all you need to do is apply a small amount through damp hair and blow dry as normal. I’ve used this twice so far and it really does make your hair look noticeably thicker!
Lord & Berry Ultimate Lip Liner in Bare (RRP £11)
Nude lips continue to be a big trend and this lip liner from Lord & Berry is the perfect shade to enhance your pout. Enriched with Macadamia Oil and Waterlily extracts, it’s easy to use and feels comfortable on the lips, whether you want to use it to line or use it all over. Stays put for most of the day and stops lipstick from bleeding – I’m really impressed with this.
Clinique A Different Nail Enamel in 08 Party Red (RRP £12)
With all those Christmas parties coming up, I wasn’t surprised to see a festive red nail polish in this month’s box. Clinique’s A Different Nail Enamel has been specially formulated for sensitive skins and offers exceptional colour and shine in two easy coats. It applies smoothly and evenly for a quick and easy party manicure in a matter of minutes.
Sleek Hypnotic Kit (RRP £13.99)
Continuing with the Christmassy vibe, I found a gorgeous makeup giftset from Sleek. Their Hypnotic Kit features their bestselling Solstice Highlighting Palette and their popular Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in the shade Birthday Suit. I’ve been enjoying playing with both of these – the highlighter palette contains some beautiful shades and the Matte Me Liquid Lipstick is fantastic!
The Body Shop Shea Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub (RRP £15)
To finish off this month’s box, there’s a wonderful Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub from The Body Shop which is perfect for this time of the year. Containing Shea Butter, it buffs away dull dead skin cells to reveal brighter, smoother skin and has a lovely fresh and nutty scent. A great product to have in your bathroom for when you fancy a pamper!
