World of Wizardry is a monthly box full of goodies from the Harry Potter world! It costs £19.99 per month.
It’s a really cool box! It comes in a shipping bag so there aren’t any labels on the box itself.
Here’s the menu list. While many of the items are exclusive to Geek Gear/World of Wizardry, there RRPs are included on the menu, and I’ll list those in the review as well.
This is Ron’s Broken Wand. £9.99 RRP. It’s simple but I think it’s a pretty clever item. There’s a little label on the box from Ron’s Mum, saying she tried to fix it. As far as I remember it was Ron himself who tried for fix it with tape, but it doesn’t really matter, it’s a great thought! This would be terrific for cosplay.
You probably remember that the Weasley twins went into business, and this Weasley Multi Colour Pen (RRP £3.99) is from their brand! It has a fun little spinner on the top too.
These Magical Cookie Cutters (RRP £2.99) are perfect for this month’s recipes. You get a nice butter cookie recipe. as well as a couple of different varieties of fudge. The Fever Fudge recipe contains chili!
This is a cool House Pin Set (RRP £11.99) which has been designed by one of the subscribers! This one is Gryffindor, though there are the three other Houses, depending on which one you select when you subscribe.
Another House item this is a Wax Stamp Set (RRP £7.99).
You get a lovely brass-coloured stamp with your House crest, plus some wax. Perfect for sealing your mail!
You can never have too many socks, and these fun House Tie Socks (£4.99 RRP) are cute and quirky.Wear them together and you can see a collar and tie!
This month’s T-shirt (RRP £9.99) features Professor Lupin in both his human and werewolf forms. It’s quite a poignant design as we all know what happened to Lupin.
Finally, a Phoenix Print (RRP £4.99) which shows Fawks, Professor Dunbledore’s phoenix.
Once again, I’m incredibly impressed by this box.
The total RRPs come to £56.92, which is way beyond the £20 cost. Now, I think some of the RRPs are a little over, and it’s difficult to put RRPs on exclusive items, but even at half the prices for everything (which would be impossible) you’re still over the cost of the box.
I’m really happy that this shirt is 100% cotton, that’s a great improvement. The wax seal is really fun, as are the socks.
One of the things I like most about this box are the recipes! I think it’s such a great idea to include these, even if they don’t have much of a value. And to have items that link into them is clever.
Great wearables, fun costume items, and stuff to use. This is another very well-balanced box, and I’m so impressed again!
