Curious about veganism or just want to find new vegan-friendly snacks every month? The Vegan Kind sounds like the subscription box for you to check out! They offer two different types of boxes; a beauty based one which is released quarterly throughout the year, and a lifestyle one which is sent out every month. It’s the latter that I want to share with you all today and I’ve really been enjoying trying out all of the products in their latest box.
With the lifestyle box, you’ll receive between 5-8 products and these are usually a mix of drinks, food/snacks, and sometimes they also include toiletries, healthy lifestyle and household items. Everything is 100% vegan-friendly, so there’s no need to spend hours at the supermarket checking all the labels – The Vegan Kind have done all the hard work for you!
Let’s have a closer look at what’s inside this month’s box, shall we?
Belvas Flaked Chocolate Truffles (100g, RRP £3.99)
The first product that I picked up was a box of the most delicious dark chocolate truffles from a German brand called Belvas. These are SO good! Made from an intense 72% Peruvian Cocoa base, these flaked truffles are organic, fair trade, gluten-free and of course, vegan-friendly. They’re wonderfully rich and have a melt-in-the-mouth consistency – so yummy and you get a generous amount of them in the box.
BetterYou B12 Boost Daily Vitamin Oral Spray (25ml, RRP £11.95)
It’s essential for vegans to take a supplement that contains Vitamin B12, as it’s something that many people can be easily lacking in. This handy daily oral spray has been specially formulated by BetterYou to be a better-absorbed form of Vitamin B12 that goes directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. It has a tasty Apricot flavour to it and this bottle contains 40 daily doses. Perfect for holidays and travelling, as well as keeping in your bag to take to work.
Rice, Lentil & Quinoa Herby Geosticks (22g, RRP £0.90)
I love herby savoury snacks and these tick all the right boxes for me. Made from a multi-grain blend of Rice, Lentils and Quinoa, these crunchy little sticks of goodness are a good source of fibre and they’re also gluten-free and low in sugar. Geosticks are also fairtrade and they’re only 91 calories per bag, so there’s lots to smile about!
I Love Snacks Californian Smoked Almonds (30g, RRP £1.30)
Next up, I found a yummy snack bag of smoked almonds and these are absolutely delicious! A great way to get some nuts into your daily diet and a good portion size as well.
Turmerlicious Choco Latte (20g, RRP £1)
Turmeric Lattes are a popular healthy drink and this one from Turmerlicious combines all the benefits of turmeric with a delicate blend of Coconut Milk, Ginger, Cinnamon, Coconut Blossom Nectar, Black Pepper and Cocoa Powder. This transforms the drink into a tasty and soothing caffeine-free beverage that you can enjoy at any time of the day.
Montezuma’s Dark Chocolate Chilli Mini Bar (30g, RRP £2.59 for a full-size 100g bar)
Chilli and chocolate sounds like something that shouldn’t work well together, but surprisingly these two flavours were made for each other! This bar is inspired by a traditional Mexican recipe and features a delicious organic dark chocolate blended with a little Chilli to give it a nice kick.
YumEarth Organic Fruit Snacks (50g, RRP £1.59)
Lastly, to finish off this month’s The Vegan Kind Box, I discovered a lovely pack of soft and chewy organic fruit jelly sweets which are brand new from YumEarth. These come in a mix of four fruity flavours (Banana, Strawberry, Cherry and Peach), and are made with real fruit juice, and absolutely no artificial colours or flavours. They’re super fruity and very moreish – this pack didn’t last very long at all!
