Taffy Mail

Indulge your sweet (and savoury!) tooth with a monthly box from Taffy Mail! This subscription service specialises in bringing the very best of authentic American candy, drinks and snacks, straight to your door, and you can choose from three types of boxes; Lite, Classic and Extra. As the names suggest, these are related to the cost, contents and size of the boxes, and I’ve got their latest Extra box to share with you all today.

Charms Fluffy Stuff Cotton Candy

You know you’re getting a proper American treats box when you find a big bag of pre-packed Cotton Candy! This funfare favourite comes in a large bundle that features a mix of sweet flavours. It tastes very sweet like how you’d imagine and would be a great product for kids parties.

Pringles Pizza flavour

Pizza flavoured Pringles anyone? Yes, please! Taffy Mail really excel at bringing their subscribers unique American-only flavours of popular products like Pringles, and these Pizza ones are no exception. Savoury, addictive, cheesy, a bit tomatoey, and oddly enough they do taste kinda like pizza!

Sweet Baby’s Ray’s Honey Chipotle Barbecue Sauce

At first I was surprised to see a bottle of Barbecue Sauce in a box like this, but after trying it, I’ve discovered that it’s my favourite product out of the whole box this month! This is the classic American household favourite from Sweet Baby Ray’s and their Honey Chipotle Barbecue Sauce is so delicious. Brilliant with chips and slathered onto any meat/veggie dish.

Hawaiian Punch in Fruit Juicy Red

I haven’t heard of this drink before, but if you love sugary sweet, fruity juice drinks, you’ll love this. Really hits the spot on a hot Summer’s Day!

M&Ms Mint Flavour

We don’t get many different flavours of M&M’s here in the UK and these are always a novel treat! This pack is the Mint Flavour which is made with Dark Chocolate – really nice and were quickly devoured by everyone in the house when I opened them.

Skor Bar

Skor is a milk chocolate candy bar that has a thin and crunchy hard toffee centre. It’s made by Hershey’s and is very sweet, but has quite an artificial buttery aftertaste to it. Not sure if I’d have this again.

Andy Capp’s Cheddar Fries

For when I have a savoury/cheesy craving, these Cheddar Fries from Andy Capp’s tick all the right boxes. Full of flavour and the skinny crunchy sticks are perfect to nibble on when you’re watching a movie.

Jolly Rancher Bites

Candy fans will enjoy this bag of Jolly Rancher Bites which features a mix of fruity flavours (Cherry, Orange, Watermelon and Green Apple) and has a double taste sensation in every bite – yum!

Hershey’s Gold Peanuts & Pretzels

Is there anything more addictive than peanuts AND pretzels?! This bar of Hershey’s Gold combines those two fantastic ingredients with a super sweet layer of caramelised creme chocolate. I was really impressed with this and so happy to see it was a generous King size bar.

Cow Tales

Cow Tales are thick pieces of chewy caramel taffy that come in a range of flavours. There are two in this month’s box; Strawberry (with a cream flavoured centre) and Caramel Apple, the latter of which was my favourite.

Moving onto the smaller items in the box, I found two Blow Pops (one Blackberry and one Sour Apple) and a pack of Pop Rocks Popping Candy in Cotton Candy flavour which is the most amazing thing ever!

Lastly, I found a bar of Airheads in Grape flavour (chewy taffy), Now & Later in Pineapple Flavour (these are similar to Chewits) and two mini packs of my favourite Nerds in Lemonade Wild Cherry and Seriously Strawberry. Awesome!
