Skincare is one of my biggest pleasures in life and I’m somewhat obsessed with sheet masks, which is why I love Mask Time so much! Mask Time offer a range of monthly and themed boxes on their website, as well the option to purchase individual masks – either way, they have something to suit everyone’s skincare tastes and budgets.
I was recently sent their latest Glow Setter Box which is a special collaboration with Elisa Lee from Sokobeauty. It includes some of her favourite sheet masks, plus a bonus skincare set, so it’s excellent value for money. Elisa’s skin is gorgeous and I wanna know what she’s using!
Inside the box, I found all of the following products:-
Holika Holika Dualizm T Zone V Zone Mask (RRP £7)
This pack features two separate masks which offer multiple benefits for your skin. The top T Zone Mask has been specially designed as a mud-infused sheet mask which helps to clarify pores using Amazon Clay to absorb excess sebum, Witch Hazel to soothe and Niacinamide to brighten up dull and dark areas. The lower Hydrogel mask, in contrast, is all about lifting and firming the skin, and features loops which hook around the ears. It’s packed with Collagen, Sesame Protein and Botanical Extracts to boost the skin’s elasticity and moisture levels. I really loved using this duo pack and especially enjoyed using them together!
Holika Holika Skin Rescuer Collagen Mask (RRP £4)
Also included from Holika Holika is their popular Skin Rescuer Collagen Mask which features an innovative ‘Air Sheet’ type of mask that’s super thin and allows the infused essence to penetrate deep down into the skin’s layers. It contains Hydrolysed Collagen and does a fantastic job of hydrating the skin. It’s also fragrance-free so can be used by all skin types including sensitive.
NOTS Lavender Relax Daily Mask (RRP £5)
For a really relaxing pampering experience, you can count on this Lavender infused mask to help you chill out at the end of a long day. It contains several natural ingredients such as Peppermint, Sarcandra, Lavender and Jasmine to name just a few, which all create a peaceful aroma and have antioxidant skincare benefits as well. This was such a lovely mask to use and I’d definitely buy it again.
Beyond Jeju Therapy Mask Moisturising (RRP £3.50)
Jeju Island is located just off the coast of the Korean peninsula and is home to the world-famous World Heritage Site which features Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes. Revered for its natural beauty, many of the island’s plants are highly sought after and this mask features some of the most well known; Jeju Beni Madonna (brightens the skin), Jeju Canola Honey (gives vitality and nourishment) and Jeju Kernel Black Bean (targets fine lines and wrinkles). A fantastic all-rounder!
Saference Skin R-X Mask Facial Firming (RRP £3.50)
Next is a mask from Saference and this one has been developed especially for sagging skin. It contains Collagen, Wine extract and Pomegranate Fruit extract to help tighten and revitalise the appearance of dull, ageing skin. The mask is free from parabens, synthetic dyes, benzophenone, mineral oil and animal-derived ingredients, and has a good overall texture. I gave this to my mum to try out and she said it definitely made her skin feel firmer and more lifted for a temporary quick fix.
Polatam Water Gel Extra Force Brightening Mask (RRP £5.50)
Described as ultra-absorbing, this cupro sheet mask is drenched in a gel-like essence which is packed full of Oak Root Extract, an ingredient which is derived from the sap of the Korean Oak Tree. The sap naturally contains large amounts of minerals and Niacinmide, so it helps to clarify and tone the skin without any irritation. I highly recommend this one for sensitive and dry skin – you will love it!
Innisfree Skin Reset Peeling Mask Oily Skin (RRP £4)
It’s great to see a sheet mask specially formulated for oily skin as they are often left out. This pack contains two steps; the first step is a peeling glove which is infused with BHA and exfoliates deep down. It’s oil-soluble so it can really get down into all that dirt and grime in your pores and clear everything out. The second step is a traditional sheet mask which contains Centella and Hyaluronic Acid to soothe and moisturise without leaving any greasy feeling afterwards.
Innisfree Skin Reset Peeling Mask Dry Skin (RRP £4)
Next up is another one of these duo packs from Innisfree, but this one is formulated for dry skin types. It features a similar peeling glove as the first step, however, this is water soluble and infused with AHA instead which is better for drier skin. The second part is a Centella and Ceramide infused sheet mask and this is ultra-nourishing for dry skin! If you have been out in the sun recently and your skin is feeling parched, this is definitely one to try.
Mphysiolab 3 Step Mask (RRP £6)
Whilst the two masks above covered two steps, this next one from Mphisolab contains three! Step one is a Mesoserum Booster which perfectly preps the skin and step two is an incredible hypoallergenic mask which is made from a fermented complex that features Broccoli, Tomato, Orange and Blueberry – interesting! It instantly plumps up the skin, whilst also soothing and moisturising it. The final third step is the Mesogel Soothing Exlir which finishes off this intensive skincare treatment and helps to lock in all that goodness.
A By Bom Ultra Cool Leaf Mask (RRP £4.50)
The last mask in this box is a two-step pack for stressed-out skin. The first step features a cooling leaf patch and this is brilliant for applying to smile lines, under the eyes and anywhere that needs that extra TLC. Follow that up with the step two ultra-cool leaf mask which is infused with Agave extract, Lemon Balm, Basil and Aloe and you’re going to get beautiful skin in no time at all! The cellulose material of this sheet mask is especially good too.
Laneige Moisture Trial Kit (RRP £9.99)
To celebrate this special collab box, there’s an amazing Laneige Moisture Trial Kit included as an extra bonus skincare item! This kit is ideal for holidays and weekends away, plus it introduces newbies to the world of the famous Korean multi-step skincare routine as there’s a Power Essential Skin Refiner Moisture, a Balancing Emulsion Moisture, a Water Bank Essence and a Water Bank Moisture Cream. The set is worth £9.99 on its own!
