The Vegan Kind is one of the best ways to discover and try out new vegan-friendly snacks, drinks and other lifestyle products, and you can rest assured that you won’t need to read any ingredients packets or anything like that because The Vegan Kind have done all the hard work for you!
Every month they send out their Lifestyle Box which is packed full of 5-8 products and it’s one of my favourite boxes to open up because the selection that they include is always a great mix.
Curious to find out more? Check out the contents of their latest June box below:-
Clarana Bunte Smarties Alternative (125g, RRP £2.65)
Vegan smarties anyone? Yes, please! These launched earlier on in the year in the UK and I’ve seen a lot of good things about them online. Made by the German company, Clara Bunte, these colourful sugar-coated chocolates are great to nibble on, or you can use them to decorate your favourite cakes and cookies. Yum!
Beanies Flavour Coffee Variety Pack (RRP £2.50)
I was very happy to see a box of Beanies Flavoured Coffee because I love this coffee brand and this Variety Pack is one of the best ways to try out their delicious flavours. My favourites in this box include Chocolate Orange, Hazelnut, Cookie Dough and Gingerbread. Each stick makes one cup of instant coffee and is only two calories with no added sugar.
Lucuma Magazine Volume 13 (RRP £3)
For lifestyle this month, there’s the most recent copy of Lucuma Magazine which is described as the ‘world’s coolest vegan magazine’, and having read some of the articles this morning, I’m inclined to agree! Packed full of travel guides, tasty recipes, art and ethical fashion features, it’s a brilliant and informative read.
Mello Mild Chilli Watermelon Seeds (25g, RRP £1.10)
Hailed as the ultimate superfood, watermelon seeds are a nutritional powerhouse which are naturally high in protein, fibre, iron, magnesium and potassium. Not only that, but these ones from Mello are gently roasted and seasoned with a little Mild Chilli to give them even more flavour and a subtle spicy kick. Perfect for snacking on the go and popping into lunch boxes.
Clearspring Japanese Organic Matcha Shot Premium Grade Green Tea Powder (1g sample, RRP £0.85)
Matcha is hugely popular these days, but if you haven’t gotten around to trying it yet, this sample of Clearspring’s award-winning Matcha Green Tea Powder is the ideal way for you to easily whip up a trendy and healthy Matcha Latte. Don’t fancy a latte? Add it to your morning smoothie instead to enjoy all of those health-boosting benefits.
JOM Organic Fizzy Caramel Sweets (25g, RRP £1.25)
These are quite interesting as they’re kinda sweet and tangy at the same time. Gluten-free and free from palm oil, these vegan-friendly sweets have a sweet caramel taste with some tangy fizz sprinkled on the top. I’m still not sure if I like them though – they’re a bit of a marmite product!
Clearspring Organic Wholegrain Rice Cakes Buckwheat & Quinoa (55g, RRP £2.29)
Upgrade your afternoon snack to a wholesome, healthy rice cake from Clearspring Organic. This pack contains six rice cakes which are made from a blend of puffed Wholegrain Rice, Buckwheat and Quinoa, with a little Rice Syrup to add a touch of sweetness. At only 31 calories per rice cake, you can eat them on their own or top them with a little vegan cream cheese and slices of cucumber for a healthy snack.
Purely Plantain Chips in Wild Garlic flavour (75g, RRP £1.99)
The last product in this month’s The Vegan Kind box is a bag of Purely Plantain Crisps in a moreish Wild Garlic flavour. Made from ethically sourced savoury bananas, these plantain crisps are a healthier alternative to potato-based snacks because they’re high in complex carbohydrates, and provide a good source of fibre, potassium and magnesium. They’re really yummy too!
At the bottom of the box, I also found this month’s recipe card which has been created by VeggieVeganVeda’s and these Vegan Summer Berry Custard Tarts sound delish!
