GeekGear is a company which sends out boxes full of geeky awesomeness! It costs £19.99 per month, and ships worldwide.
The box comes inside a mailing bag, so it looks pristine when unwrapped.
Here’s the menu leaflet. There’s details and RRPs for all the items.
A Star Wars item! This is a fantastic Tie Fighter In-Car Mobile Phone Holder (£11.99 RRP).
It’s one of the ones that clips into a vent, and is adjustable and rotates.
This is one of four possible Big Bag Theory Q-Pop (£14.99 RRP) figures. This guy is Leonard Hofstadter, the physicist character from the show.
As well as the character on a stand, it comes with a little speech bubble and a pen to write whatever words of wisdom you fancy!
Everyone loves crazy Harley Quinn, and this is a necklace featuring the design from the movie costume (£14.99 RRP)
Shiny! This would be great for cosplay, or just to show off your fandom.
More Suicide Squad, this time a Lapel Pin Set (£12.99 RRP) This is one of three possible sets, each featuring a Suicide Squad character.
This is an exclusive framed Jurassic Park Print (£9.99 RRP)
Finally, this month’s t-shirt (£9.99 RRP) shows the names of the four raptors featured in the latest Jurassic Park movie.
Once again, a great array of goodies!
The figure is really cute, and my husband is a big fan of Big Bag Theory so he’s going to enjoy this.
I’m slightly disappointed the shirt is 90% cotton and 10% polyester. So close, but I really don’t like shirts that are’t 100% cotton. Oh well. The design is pretty clever.
The framed print is OK, but it’s the only thing that isn’t really special for me, though a framed print is better than a loose one.
The necklace and pins are my favourite items. The phone holder is really cool, but as I already have a phone holder in my car, I’m gong to think which of my geeky friends will appreciate it the most!
This box is always insanely good value for under £25. Even though I’m not always convinced by the RRPs in the menu, there’s no doubt that you get way more than the box cost. For example, I found the necklace on Amazon for £15.95 and the pins on Forbidden Planet for £13.99, so I’ve no doubt of the value of those. Just those two items alone make up more than the box value, plus they’re really awesome!
