I always loved that time of the month when subscription boxes arrive, especially when the My Geek Box arrives in the post. My Geek Box has provided some of my favourite subscription box items so far and this months box is one of the best so far this year. The box contains a range of fandoms including Star Wars, Rick and Morty and Marvel as well as a mystery item!
The boxes always contains a range of items from lifestyle and homeware items to puzzles, figurines and books. I love the range of fandoms and items included within each box and this month box is no different. There are four items in the box as well as a mystery item – I love the extra mystery element of this box.
The Shadow Batman Comic
The mystery item I received is The Shadow Batman comic book (issue one) which is something I’m definitely interested in. The 90’s Batman cartoon was one of my favourite TV shows to watch growing up so I’m always happy with Batman items in subscription boxes.
Marvel Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Pint Sized Hero Blindbag
Another mystery item is a mystery figurine from the pint sized hero collection by Funko Pop. There are twelve figurines that you could have received in the blindbag. I wanted Groot or Rocket but I received Star Lord but I love these little blindbag figurines!
Rick and Morty Puzzle
Next up is another of my favourite cartoons, Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty is a funny, rude and crude cartoon on Netflix, I’ve been watching it on and off for a year or so – I can’t wait for season 4. I love puzzles but I’m not really a fan of jigsaw puzzles but I might do this one. The jigsaw pattern looks very Rick and Morty, so much destruction!
Star Wars The Last Jedi 3D Lumiart
The penultimate item is one of the highest value item I think I’ve ever received in a subscription box. This large Star Wars themed light up wall art has an RRP of around £34.99! It looks amazing when it’s light up, it is even more impressive as it looks quite 3D.
My Geek Box Fighting Robots T-Shirt
The final item is the exclusive t-shirt that’s always included in the My Geek Boxes. I think this design is one of my favourites this year as it is so unique and features fighting robots. I love this design and that the basic fabric is white – too many t-shirts are made of black fabric, it’s nice to have one in white.
