YumeTwins is a monthly box of Japanese kawaii products from Tokyo. It is part of the TokyoTreat subscription box group which also includes TokyoTreat and nomakenolife. Each box contains 6 – 8 kawaii items including plushies and lifestyle goods plus premium anime brands.
They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing $35.00, $33.50, $32.00, and $31.50 per month respectively (from around £25).
The box is big enough to need a trip to the sorting office, but there’s lots of goodies inside!
This month’s theme is Staycation.
It’s a great theme for summer, as not everyone gets to go away on holiday!
There’s a menu and details about all the items in the box.
Here’s the Onsen Bird Plushie. Isn’t he adorable? Very soft too!
These Cute Zipper Bags come in six different designs, and I got Pikachu! Very useful for stopping small items getting lost in your bag.
This Sanrio Eco Bag is another incredibly useful item. It comes folded in its own tiny bag.
It opens out into a handy shoulder bag, perfect for taking shopping with you! There were also six designs, My Melody and Little Twin Stars. This is one of the My Melody variations.
Another handy travel item, this is a Character Toothbrush Kit. It consists of a folding toothbrush and mini mug, easy to pack away. I’ve got Hello Kitty, and the alternative was Totoro.
This has been a very hot summer, so this Disney Tsum Tsum Tumbler is perfect for making sure you stay hydrated! There were three different design options, but I’m really glad I got this one!
Finally the stationery item, Marumofubiyori Sticky Notes. These little sticky tabs are perfect for marking pages or making a quick note. They’re also incredibly cute!
This is a fun collection! I think the little bags are incredibly useful to have, as you can put snacks in them, or perhaps even things like medication.
Water bottles are an essential, especially as carrying water with you means you won’t be buying disposable bottles!
Sticky notes are always useful to have around, I use them as bookmarks.
My favourite item is the folding bag. I always carry lots of these with me, as I never know when I need to do some shopping, and I don’t like buying plastic bags. This one looks nice and strong.
These items all come from Japan and often aren’t available in the UK. But to give you an idea of value, I found another My Melody Eco Bag (same bag but different design) for £12.50!
