Like their Bee Happy Box, everything in the beauty box is also sourced from independent artisans across the UK and Europe, so it’s always exciting to open it up and discover brands that you probably haven’t come across before.
GreenEcoBox donates £2.50 from every Beauty In The Box sold to the WWF to help protect biodiversity in the Swiss Alps and they are currently involved in a conservation project to try to bring back endangered Bearded Vultures to the region. In addition to that donation, GreenEcoBox will also plant a tree in Haiti in your name via OneTreePlanted to reduce deforestation, and you’ll even receive a certificate of proof in your box.

The Handmade Soap Company Lemongrass & Cedarwood Shampoo
From Ireland, we have a Lemongrass & Cedarwood Shampoo which is made by The Handmade Soap Company. This shampoo has an eco-friendly, vegan and natural formula which includes essential oils of Lemongrass and Cedarwood to leave your hair shinier and healthier. It’s free from parabens, SLS and synthetic dyes too, so it won’t strip your hair of its natural oils.
Valloloko Ripe Time Soap
Valloloko is a German artisan brand and their Ripe Time Soap features a fruity and lively blend of Grapefruit, Blood Orange, Carnations and Cloves. It smells absolutely gorgeous and very Christmassy as those Cloves give it a lovely touch of spice! Vegan-friendly, it can be used as a hand soap, as well as in the bath and shower.
Autour du Bain Passion Fruit Bath Melt
When I opened the box, I was instantly greeted by a beautiful scent which came from this heavenly Passion Fruit Bath Melt from the Swiss/French artisans, Autour du Bain. This little chocolate cake bath melt contains Cocoa and Shea Butter to deeply nourish and soften the skin, whilst fruity essential oils deliver a luxury pampering experience.
Folie Verte Organic Solid Toothpaste
With a worldwide emphasis currently in place in the eco-conscious consumer’s mind about reducing plastic waste, this Organic Solid Toothpaste from the French artisans Folie Verte, will be a welcome addition to many people’s bathrooms and daily routines. Composed of Coconut Butter to fight the bacteria that cause oral cavities, this solid toothpaste also contains Corn Starch and Peppermint Essential Oil to keep your teeth clean and polished, and your mouth minty fresh.
Finally, I found a small packet of extras which contains a lovely selection of fairtrade chocolates from Valrhona and some delicious Cacao Truffles – yummy!
