LookFantastic – October 2018

I’m definitely a little late with this subscription box review but here it is! The October LookFantastic box is filled with six beauty items from a range of brands including Dr Lipp, Pixi, Ahava and more. I love the colour of this months box as well as the variety of the items included too! There are a few brands in this months box that I’ve wanted to try for a while so I’m very glad that they’re included.

Talika Bubble Mask Bio Detox

Let’s start with the sheet mask from the box. There seems to be a sheet mask within every box which I’m a little conflicted about – I do like to try new masks but I always end up with so many of them! This one is a little unique as it foams up and on contact with the skin it unclogs pores and detoxifies the skin.

Monu Skin Night Renewal Complex

Another skincare product from the box is from a brand I really liked, Monu. This night cream is  great size and it sounds fantastic for my dull, dry skin. It brightens, firms and improves the natural elasticity of the skin. I’ve loved the Monu products I’ve tried so far, so I have high hopes of this one!

Pixi Fresh Face Blush

There’s one makeup item in the October box and it’s a brand that I’ve wanted to try more from for so long. I’ve tried their liners and loved them but this is the first blush. The shade is so pretty and I’m actually really happy with it, despite not being a blush wearer.

Ahava Mineral Body Lotion

There are a couple of stand out products for me, the first is this heavenly body lotion from Ahava, which is a brand I haven’t heard of before. The lotion contains lots of minerals to hydrate and nourish the skin. It smells so nice and it has a lovely texture. It absorbs very quickly leaving the skin smooth, soft and hydrated.

Dr Lipp Elderberry Lip Tint

You could have either received this lip tint or the original nipple balm for dry skin and lips. I’m so glad I received the lip tint as the shade is just gorgeous, it gives a very slightly berry tint to the lips. It also provides long lasting hydration! I think this lip tint might be my favourite product from the entire box.

Prai Throat and Décolletage Cream

The final item comes in such a cute little pot, the Prai throat and décolletage cream which apparently provides visible results in just seven days. I haven’t used it consistently enough yet but I’m excited to as it sounds impressive!
