One of my favourite and one of the most practical subscription boxes that I receive has to be the Secret Scent Box. The samples are perfect for travelling or keeping in your handbag and I know that I’ll be taking a couple to London next week! The February box contains three samples from Police, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss.
Tommy Hilfiger Eau De Prep
Firstly, Eau De Prep by Tommy Hilfiger which contains the following notes: pink peppercorn, green apple, violet leaves, white rose, sandalwood, hawthorn and musk. I haven’t tried any fragrances from this brand before but I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s a fruity, musky scent that’s great for everyday use, although it isn’t my favourite sample from the Secret Scent Boxes I’ve tried.
Hugo Boss Private Accord
Next up is my favourite scent of the three which includes the following notes: mandarin, osmanthus, dark cocoa and roasted tonka. It’s a gorgeous, creamy and rich scent that is very unique! I haven’t tried a fragrance that contains vanilla and also chocolate-like notes before and I love it.
Police Passion Woman
Last but not least is another fragrance brand I haven’t tried before! It contains notes including: bergamot, orange, cassis, apple, lotus, hawthorn, freesia, sunflower, sandalwood, musk, cedar and tonka bean. While this fragrance is a very generic fruity, feminine and fresh fragrance, it is a great spring casual perfume.
