TreatGlobe – May 2021: The American Sweet

TreatGlobe is a brand new subscription box that delivers an exciting box of full-size treats to your door every month. This independent family-run business currently has two subscription options available at the moment called The British Sweet and The American Sweet, with more options to be launched soon.

All of their boxes are made from sustainable and recyclable materials and 5% from every new subscription is donated to various charities working hard to plant trees and to protect the environment.

The standard TreatGlobe subscription boxes start from £9.99 per month and contain five delicious treats in a letterbox friendly box, but these can be upgraded to include more if you’d like!

Each box also contains a card that tells you more about the business as well as a list of all the treats that you’ll find inside on the reverse.

Here’s what we found inside the first TreatGlobe American Sweet box:-

Tootsie Roll

This yummy chewy sweet is a chocolate flavoured, taffy-like candy that mixes cocoa with a subtle fruity undertone. If you want something different to a traditional caramel chew, this is the one to try!

Butterfinger

My favourite from this box is the Butterfinger which is made by Nestle. This bar has a crunchy and crumbly peanut butter centre and is coated in smooth milk chocolate. Absolutely delicious.

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate with Whole Almonds

Hershey’s is America’s most popular brand of chocolate and this Milk Chocolate with Whole Almonds is a good example of what this brand has to offer. Smooth and creamy milk chocolate with crunchy whole almonds – what more could you ask for?

Now & Later Chewy Original

These are basically like Chewits with a mix of fruity flavours that include apple, grape, strawberry, cherry and banana chews.

Anabelle Rocky Road Mint Bar

Last, but not least, we have the Anabelle Rocky Road Mint Bar which is a real treat for all you Rocky Road fans! Combining handmade dark chocolate, fluffy mint-flavoured marshmallow and a sprinkle of roasted cashew nuts, it’s a flavour sensation!
