Savon Stories Winter Edition Organic Soap
The first product that I picked out of the box is a bar of Organic Soap from the English artisans, Savon Stories so it was fantastic to see a British company involved. This Winter Edition seasonal soap features a blend of 100% organic, cold-pressed and raw natural ingredients to make a moisturising soap for dry skin. It’s free from palm oil and suitable for vegans which is great to see. I love the scent of this as it has a lot of Wintery spices like Cinnamon that are mixed with juicy notes of zesty Orange – it smells good enough to eat!
Naturseifen Walnuss Shampoo
Next up, I was pleased to see a shampoo bar because these are a great way to reduce your plastic waste and thus your impact on the environment. This gentle Walnut-based shampoo from the German artisans Naturseifen is handmade from a special recipe and contains cold-pressed Vegetable Oils and Walnut extract as its main ingredients. It’s free from preservatives, silicones, petroleum derivatives and is vegan-friendly.
Theophile Berthon Savon De Provence Body Wash in Blackberry and Orange Blossom
From the French company Theophile Berthon, there are two beautiful shower gels/body washes to try out in two different scents; Blackberry and Orange Blossom. Both are composed of 80% Olive Oil and 20% Coconut Oil with no preservatives, SLS, synthetic colours or fragrances, and instead, they use pure essential oils to evoke gorgeous scents. They both smell amazing!
Scence Pepperminty Lip Balm
Lastly, there’s a wonderful plastic-free lip balm from the British artisan company Scence. Made from nourishing organic plant-based ingredients, this lip balm is rich in Jojoba Oil, Illipe Butter, Myrica Wax and Mango Butter to instantly soothe, hydrate and protect dry and chapped lips.
As an extra gift, GreenEcoBox has included a packet of tea and chocolate samples from Higher Living Organic and Cafe Tasse, plus a delicious organic Cacao Truffle – yum!
