It’s time to review the June Secret Scent Box which as always is filled with three 3ml fragrance samples that are ideal to add to your handbag! The brands in the June box include: Agent Provocateur, Vera Wang and Lancome. I generally like Vera Wang and Lancome fragrances so I think knew I’d like this box!
The presentation of the box is always nice, I love that it fits through the letterbox so I don’t have to be home to collect it and it is a great way to try new fragrances each month without the hefty price tag. Additionally, I find the samples to be perfect for on the go or for travelling!
Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense
Let’s start with the brand I haven’t tried before, Agent Provocateur. It contains the following notes: liquorice, wild dewberry, lotus blossom, champaca flower, rose, amber, leather and vanilla, all of which sound amazing. The scent is so lovely, it’s very musky and floral with sweet notes with I think come from the liquorice. I’d definitely look out for this perfume in the future.
Vera Wang Rock Princess
I’ve tried a couple of her ‘princess’ fragrances in the past and liked them generally so I was excited to try this one. It contains peach, raspberry, bergamot, rose, heliotrope, jasmine, lily, musk, iris, coconut and cashmere notes. I find it to be a very generic, sweet and floral/fruity fragrance. I will use up the sample but it’s not something I’m a huge fan of.
Lancome La Vie Est Belle En Rose
I love Lancome fragrances, I’ve tried many of them, including the original version of this fragrance. The notes are as follows: blackcurrant, pear, iris, orange blossom, jasmine, tonka bean, praline, patchouli and vanilla, some of my favourite notes. As with the previous one, this scent is fairly generic, in my opinion. However, I love how sweet, fresh and ‘clean’ it is.
