The latest bi-monthly Beauty In The Box from Greenecobox has arrived and it’s packed full of interesting green beauty treats to appeal to those who are looking to live a more eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle. There are a range of unique artisan companies to explore and this box is a brilliant way to support independent brands from across the UK and Europe.
The feel-good factor continues as Greenecobox also donates to two different campaigns/charities on your behalf with the purchase of each box. This month’s chosen projects are OneTreePlanted (one tree will be planted for you in the Andes) and you’ll receive a certificate of proof in your box), and €3 will be donated to Green Energy who are based in Switzerland and are helping to promote and develop new ways to replace fossil fuel energy with cleaner alternatives.

Hydrophil Lavendel Seife Soap
Reduce your plastic waste at home with this multi-purpose all-natural and biodegradable soap which is handmade by the German artisans, Hydrophil. This vegan-friendly soap is free from palm oil and has a lovely fresh Lavender scent mixed in with a base of Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Sunflower Oil. You can use it for body and hair and it’s packaged in recycled cardboard.
Bain & Savon Botanical Shampoo Bar
Next up, we have another solid plastic-free product, this time closer to home from the British brand, Bain & Savon. Their Botanical Shampoo Bar is also free from palm oil and vegan-friendly, and all of their products are handmade in Cumbria. It contains no nasties such as SLS or parabens, and instead has a gentle formula made with vegetable oils and infused with Calendula and Geranium Essential Oil.
Greenfrog Botanic Botanical Bodywash
Formulated by English brand, Greenfrog Botanic, this Botanical Bodywash smells absolutely amazing with an invigorating scent of Neroli and Lime. Enriched with Organic Aloe Vera, this cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and palm-oil-free shower gel is ultra gentle on the skin and can be used by all skin types, including sensitive, eczema and psoriasis.
Comme Avant Natural Mint Powder Toothpaste
I had no idea what this product was until I read the accompanying leaflet menu, but it’s an all-natural Mint Powder Toothpaste! Certified COSMOS Organic, it’s been created by the French artisans Comme Avant and features a 100% natural formula that’s free from SLS, Triclosan, Fluoride and artificial colours and fragrances. It cleans teeth by using a combination of White Clay, Siwak and Calcium Carbonate, whilst Mint Crystals provide long lasting freshness. Comes packaged in a recyclable PP plastic pot and will last for about 3 months, which allows you to cut down on non-recyclable toothpaste tubes. An added bonus is that because it’s a powder product and not a liquid, you can include it with your cabin/carry on luggage when travelling!
