I love receiving the Secret Scent Boxes but I’m a little behind when it comes to sharing my thoughts about the past couple of boxes but today’s review is of the fantastic November box. The box as always contains three x 3ml fragrances samples from a range of well known and loved brands such as Marc Jacobs, DKNY and Calvin Klein. All three of those brands are included in this months box.
Marc Jacobs Rain
Let’s start with one of my favourites and it is a brand that I love too, Marc Jacobs. I love the Daisy range from Marc Jacobs but I haven’t tried anything else from them. The fragrance contains the following notes: grass, wild strawberries, clementine, passion flower, white orchid, amber, tree moss and teakwood. It’s such a refreshing and spring-like fragrance that I love!
DKNY Stories
Another brand I’ve tried so many fragrances from is DKNY and again, I haven’t tried this one before. It contains the following notes: pink iris, peach and vanilla – I haven’t noticed a fragrance recently with so few fragrance notes! it is quite a generic fruity and floral scent that I like but I don’t think I’d buy it in the future.
Calvin Klein Truth
Lastly is another fragrance I haven’t heard of but it’s my favourite option in the November box. It contains notes of vetiver, patchouli, lemon, clover, bergamot, peony, sandalwood, lily, mimosa, musk, vanilla and amber, all of which sound amazing. This fragrance is my favourite from the box as it’s gorgeous and unlike anything else I have in my collection. It is very ‘green’ and almost botanical which I love and I’ll definitely be looking out for this fragrance soon.
