Banjo Robinson the traveling cat is the perfect penpal for curious kids. This time he has been exploring Zimbabwe!

His fun and beautifully illustrated letter recounts a terrific tale of traveling tough the country and visiting the magnificent Victoria Falls.

There’s lots to learn about the local wildlife and geography.

As well as the letter there is an additional trivia page, a colouring sheet with details from the letter, and even a recipe card to try out!

Banjo makes it very easy for children to write back. Included is a sheet of writing paper, and envelope with special mailing instructions, and a sheet of fun stickers and special stamps , for the map wallchart and the reply. The letter from Banjo includes prompts and suggestions for thing the child might like to include in their reply, so there is no shortage of ideas.

As always, this is one of the most fun and creative things I have ever seen for children. The colours and language are bright and attractive, and the adventures are exciting to read. Including the paper to reply is a very nice touch, and the special mailing under the sofa means parents will be able to keep the replies from their child as a lovely souvenir of their childhood creativity. Banjo's adventures are funny as well as informative, and and the fun of having a cat penpal captures children's imagination! This subscription is incredibly good value for money and getting a letter every two weeks from their cat pal will always be a marvellous treat. The perfect gift for children!
