Letterbox Gifts – Mother’s Day

Letterbox Gifts delivers gorgeous gift boxes of goodies that are cleverly designed and packaged to fit though your letterbox.

They source from independent British companies, so you are supporting smaller suppliers.

The gifts are definitely aimed at the female market, and subscription options include Mother’s Day, Mother-To-Be, Birthday, For Her, and Wine.

A quick rundown on price: a three month subscription is £28.99 per month, and the wine option is £21.99. You can also buy a wide variety of one-off boxes for around £30. First Class postage is included, which is very useful for last-minute panic buying!

I’ve received a Mother’s Day box.

The packaging is very attractive indeed. It does fit through the letterbox, and the address label is on an external sleeve.

(All the packaging is recyclable, hurray!)

Inside the sleeve is the box itself, which is nice and sturdy enough to be reused.

The contents are nicely wrapped in tissue, and there’s a little card on top, just so you know what the gift is for! This can be personalized for the recipient however you like.

Under the tissue is another card, this time listing the contents.

First, a box of six chocolate truffles. These are delicious, definitely something to savor, and not share!

Loose leaf tea, which makes a nice change from the usual teabag! The tea itself is a blend of green and black teas, with a little floral twist. It’s also contained in a lovely metal tin, which again is reusable.

There’s no mug in the box, but this ‘mum’s mug’ coaster is somewhere nice to put the lovely cup of tea you just made, or even better, that someone else has made for you!

Finally, three beautiful glass tealights. They’re all natural, made from recycled glass, plant wax, and essential oils. I love that they are glass, because either they can be recycled after burning, or you can use them again  to hold other tealights safely. Perfect for a candlelit bath!
