Bettybox – November 2018

Aimed at girls and teens who have just started their periods, Bettybox is a fantastic monthly subscription box which sends your daughter all of their period essentials, as well as a selection of beauty and lifestyle products. These can include items such as teen-friendly makeup, pampering treats, chocolate/sweets, skincare and more, and it all comes beautifully presented in a bright and colourful box.

First things first – the period essentials. Packaged in two boxes and a handy cotton drawstring bag, you’ll find all of your essentials and you’ll find that this part of the subscription is completely customisable, so you can choose whether you want to have pads, tampons or a mix of both, as well as selecting which brand you’d like them from such as Always, Tampax and Bodyform.

Inside the ‘For You’ box, you’ll find the beauty and lifestyle treats and this month’s selection is really good!

Bandzee Glamour Collection Hair Ties Pack (RRP £5.95)

The first product that I picked up was a pack of Bandzee Hair Ties and these are brilliant because they won’t leave a kink or damage your hair. You can also use them as cute wristbands so that you’re never without a hair tie!

MUA Blusher in Marshmallow (RRP £1)

For makeup this month, there’s a blusher from MUA in the shade Marshmallow. This looks quite bright in the packaging, but it’s actually a cute baby pink colour which you can apply sheer with a light brush, or layer it for a bolder look.

Bryt Cotton Socks (RRP £8.50)

With Winter on its way soon, these socks will definitely come in handy! Made from soft combed cotton, they are super cosy and feature a funky spotted pattern to brighten up your sock drawer.

Vitamasques Rose Gold Dust Mask (RRP £5.99)

Treat your skin to a pamper with this Rose Gold Dust Mask from Vitamasques. This sheet mask contains real Gold Dust and Rose Powder inside the formula to make your skin literally sparkle! Perfect for sleepovers with your best friends.

Merci Handy Licorice Toothpaste (RRP £3.90)

Speaking of sleepovers – don’t forget your toothpaste! This one from Merci Handy has a tasty Licorice flavour to it and is made from 98% natural ingredients for a healthy and happy mouth.

Urban Veda Radiance Body Scrub (travel size)

I was happy to find this Body Scrub from Urban Veda because I’ve tried some of their skincare in previous Bettyboxes and loved those, so I’m looking forward to giving this one a go. It contains a moisturising mix of natural botanical ingredients to pamper dry Winter skin.

Seed & Bean Organic Milk Chocolate with Cornish Sea Salt & Lime (sample bar)

The last product is a tasty chocolate treat from Seed & Bean and this small bar contains a mix of creamy Milk Chocolate with a subtle hint of Sea Salt and Lime – yum!
