This month’s Birchbox arrived a few days ago and contains a fantastic edit of beauty products to make you feel ‘on top of your world’, which is September’s theme. The box features a cute blue, purple and silver print and as always, you can re-use these as they pull out like little beauty drawers – great to stack up on your vanity to store your makeup and essentials!
Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside September’s Birchbox, shall we?
Benefit Gold Rush Blush/Highlighter (mini deluxe travel size, full-size RRP is £25.50)
How adorable is this Benefit Gold Rush powder compact?! Described as ‘sunshine in a box’, Gold Rush is a golden-nectar blush that also doubles up as a pretty highlighter that you can get your glow on with. The flattering honey toned shade is infused with lots of golden flecks to add some shimmer and glow to the tops of the cheekbones to brighten up your whole complexion. It’s gorgeous!
Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment (travel size, full-size RRP is £34.90)
Next, I pulled out a cult skincare product from the Australian brand, Sand & Sky. Their Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment is a clever 3-in-1 scrub that’s suitable for all skin types. It features Macadamia Seed to gently exfoliate, Pink Clay to clear out clogged pores and Australian Finger Lime to provide a lit-from-within-glow. It gets to work in just 5 minutes so is perfect for those with busy schedules.
Marcelle City 24H Anti-Pollution Day & Night Moisturising Emulsion (travel size, full-size RRP is £23)
Anti-pollution skincare is a massive trend at the moment and this mini from Marcelle is a great way to try out their popular City 24H Anti-Pollution Day & Night Moisturising Emulsion formula. It uses a CityGuard complex to shield your skin effectively from the damaging elements of pollution which cause premature ageing and wrinkles, whilst also brightening and hydrating at the same time.
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Riche (travel size, full-size retails for £32)
I’m a huge fan of the regular NUXE Huile Prodigieuse so I was thrilled to see a sample of their brand new Riche formula included in this month’s box. This multi-tasking oil contains ultra-nourishing Tsubaki Oil to hydrate dry skin and it can be used on the face, body and hair as and when you need some extra TLC.
Klorane Nourishing Conditioner with Mango Butter (50ml travel size, full-size retails for £10)
The final product is a generous travel size tube of Klorane Nourishing Conditioner with Mango Butter. I’ve tried this French bestseller many times in the past and it’s a fantastic conditioner that’s best suited for dry or damaged hair. It’s also free from sulphates, silicones and parabens and it does an excellent job!
