This is the first box that the team at Boxcitement have sent out that has been impacted by the Coronavirus lockdown. All the items are linked to staying safe at home, and they really brought a smile to my face.
What’s in the box?
- A wooden hanging sign to remind you to look after yourself
- Stylish spice islands beaded bracelet
- Bag charm to use when you eventually leave the house
- A set of tropical guest soaps
- Harissa spice mix and mini wooden spoon
- Four Silk Road inspired post cards
- Ikat patterned tea towel
The highlights
This is a beautiful bag charm and I can’t wait to show it off. I’m sadly on full lockdown so can’t even go out for a walk, and I am really missing just being able to have that freedom. This will bring a smile to my face once I am able to get out and about again.
This wooden sign is great, and I’ve already hung it up to remind me that it will all be ok in the end. If it’s not to your taste you could always hang it up in a window facing outwards to remind your neighbours that they’ve got this too.
I love this tea towel. The pattern is really quirky and I imagine it would go in most kitchens. The tea towels that come in Boxcitement boxes every so often are always really good quality and last a long time so I was pleased to get another one as I am doing a LOT more washing up being stuck at home!
These post cards are really lovely and bright and I plan to send them to friends and family to let them know that I am thinking of them.
My favourite piece is probably this bracelet. I love everything about it, from the packaging to the clip mechanism holding it together. It feels really sturdy and expensive and made me so happy when I opened it.
These guest soaps made me smile. It will be lovely to have guests again at some point! I’ve not opened these up yet but they are coconut and mango flavour and they look fab.
I love harissa so this was a welcome addition, and the wooden spoon is really cute too. We’re looking forward to trying some new ideas – harissa mayo sounds epic!
Last but not least
…is this little hidden extra. I absolutely love this and have popped it in our window so that it makes people waking past smile too.
