The theme for the February Boxcitement box all about making time for you, and showing a bit of self-love. I think the team have done a really good job in creating a really varied box this month and I’ve really enjoyed reviewing this one.
What was in the box?
- Two beautiful copper ‘love’ paperclips
- A stainless steel reusable straw
- Two mini art prints
- A handy pocket/handbag mirror
- A cute little canvas purse
- A mini token of appreciation
- A set of motivational stickers
- A handy desktop weekly planner
- A set of two metal bangles
The highlights
I absolutely adore this mini ‘token of appreciation’. The only problem is I don’t want to give it away! Yep, I am totally keeping this for myself. I also think the copper paperclips are of really high quality and am desperate to find a use for them, other than highlighting things I want for my birthday/Mothers Day!
I also really appreciated ‘the last straw’. There is such a huge push for removing single use plastic and whilst I don’t tend to get or use straws I do think they are just one thing we simply don’t need anymore. This stainless steel straw is really good quality and I can’t wait to start using it.
I’m hoping to put up a wire board in my room soon where I’m going to hang my jewellery as well as sharing cute photos and a few little motivational prints. The set of two in this month’s box will be perfect and I’m looking forward to seeing them every day as a reminder to be myself (and be OK with that!).
I’m also a big fan of the stickers in this box. I need a bit of motivation at the moment and these will really help. I really like the colours used and some of the messages – though I do wonder if I personally need a ‘yay I didn’t swear at anyone today’!
Last but not least I am a big fan of the bracelets included in this box, and the quality of the bag they came in too. It’s the little touches like this that I think really make Boxcitement boxes so great. I also appreciate the fact that even though I have quite generous wrists these bracelets still fitted. I can’t wait to wear them!
