The theme of the latest Boxcitement box is ‘Enchanted Forest’ and this month the team have done a wonderful job in putting together a box of treats that perfectly captures all the wonderful things about autumn.
What’s in the box?
- A cute little owl tea strainer
- Pack of loose leaf tea
- A woodland fox tealight holder and tealight
- A moon and star necklace
- A golden lock and key
- Set of two wooden stacking rings
- Spooky card and gift wrap set
- Quirky wild and free stag print.
The highlights
This necklace is stunning. I’ve worn it a few times since my box arrived and had tons of compliments. It is adjustable in length and is almost lariat in style so you can wear it with the star and moon close together or with the star worn higher up and the moon dangling lower down. It’s possibly my favourite piece from all the Boxcitement boxes, I absolutely adore it and don’t think you’d find anything as nice for under £10 on the high street.
Twit twoo, tea for two
This was such a lovely addition! Especially because I am not a big tea or coffee drinker and prefer fruit infusions. It can be really hard to find a decent infuser and this one is both cute and practical. I can’t imagine you could source this yourself for less than £4-£5 so this just adds to the good value this month’s box is.
Keep it under lock and key
The photo doesn’t do this justice if I’m honest. This is a really sturdy and heavy lock, its absolutely not ‘cheap’ and would be perfect to really keep things locked away safely. It was an unusual item to find in a subscription box but one I really love.
Striking print
This was another real treat to find in this month’s box. We don’t really have space to hang this in our house, but its the sort of thing that would make a lovely gift to someone. I’ve re-gifted a couple of things from previous boxes that have been lovely but not to my taste or decor. The items Boxcitement source are such great quality that I’ve felt proud doing this and the people who have received them have loved them.
Cosy candlelight
My final favourite was this lovely tealight holder and tealight. I am a huge fan of fox-themed items anyway but I jut thought the design on this was stunning and really captured the essence of autumn and of this box.
My one complaint
I thought these stacking rings were a lovely addition, they are good quality and I thought they were beautiful. However they are too small for my chunky fingers, and I could only just get this one on to get a photo. Whilst they could be used as a charm strung on some cord or chain I would have liked to have seen something that could be worn by all, not just those whose fingers are slightly more delicate!
