British Food Box is a small business, passionate about supporting British faming and other local small businesses.
The family farm is situated on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border and the cows graze all year round and you could class them as free range!
British Food Box work with another family farm in Cheshire where their milk is used to make award winning cheese by hand on open tables. Their little business then retails this cheese to the general public in their beautiful gift hampers, and all of the cheeses are also available for individual purchase.
They also work with other dairy farmers who make their own produce which includes Hartington Creamery who are the smallest Stilton maker in the world! Their favourites are Dovedale Blue and their award winning Stilton of which they include in a variety of their hampers!
British Food Box have a variety of gift hampers and subscription boxes to suit all budgets and taste preferences. Starting at £15, they have a wide range of cheese gift hampers, ultimate grazing boards and even an afternoon tea selection- so there really is something for everybody!
What’s in the box?
Each of the gift hampers are packed by hand, and can be customised with a printed gift message of your choice.
Each hamper is carefully packaged in a gift box, protected with decorative filler in the box to ensure it arrives in perfect condition!
They offer one-off purchases of gift hampers and individual cheeses, alongside our best selling ‘Monthly Cheeseboard Subscription’.
The monthly cheeseboard subscription consists of a hand picked selection of four delicious cheeses, delivered to your door every month. They always aim to give you a variety of different flavours each month, but are more than happy to customise your box to suit your personal preferences!
Delivery
Goods are nearly always dispatched within 24 hours (Monday – Thursday). Please note they don’t despatch parcels on Fridays, therefore orders received on a Thursday after 7AM or Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.
They therefore typically deliver in the following timescales;
- Mainland UK Mainland : 2 days from order receipt (Order Day 1 – Despatched Day 2 – Delivery Day 3)
- Highlands & Islands and Channel Islands: Normally they offer a 3 days from of order receipt service e.g. Orders received on Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday for delivery on Thursday.
- Northern Ireland, Rep. Ireland, Belgium and France: Unfortunately they are unable to supply into these regions at current.
You can also request a specific delivery date at the checkout and they will try their very best to accommodate.
Should you need to change your delivery address, please email them.
Your order will be delivered by their delivery partners DPD. With DPD, you will receive an SMS telling you the specific hour your order will be delivered, be able to see detailed tracking on Google Maps and even change your delivery to suit you – meaning you’ll always know where your order is.
