Depending on your cheese cravings and personal budget, you can choose to have a Cheesepostie delivered every week, fortnight or month, and they also make awesome gifts if you’re looking for something fun and different!
This month I received the Ze Tasty German flavour which looks like an interesting savoury combination!
As you can see, all of the ingredients are packaged neatly in their own compartments within the box and the new stronger seal wraps on the plastic tubs help to make sure that there are no accidents or spillages en route! Seriously though, the new plastic wrapping is incredibly strong – I always need to use a knife to get into them!
To make the Ze Tasty German Cheesepostie, I received the following ingredients:-
- Two slices of White Bread
- Two mini packs of Kerrygold Butter
- Gruyère Cheese
- Mustard
- Sauerkraut
For this one, I decided to spread all of the Mustard on one side and topped it off with the Sauerkraut, whilst I buttered the other side and placed all of the Gruyère Cheese on top of that. I then folded them together and placed them in a hot frying pan. You can, of course, use the enclosed toasting bag and pop it into the toaster – either way, it’s going to taste delicious!
The final result – Ze Tasty German Cheesepostie!
I love Sauerkraut, but the combination of that with the Gruyère and the Mustard was a match made in heaven. The Gruyère had gently softened into everything and the bread toasted beautifully as always (the bread that Cheeseposties use is always top quality) to make a deliciously different savoury cheese toastie!
