What better to liven up your life than with a Cheeseposties subscription?! This novel subscription service sends you a gourmet deconstructed cheese toastie through the post, straight to your home or workplace. And these aren’t any old cheese toasties either! Far from it, Cheeseposties offer a crazy range of the most amazing cheese toastie flavour combinations that you can think of. They have everything from the more traditional combos, to the truly ‘out there’ ones, but they have to be tasted to be believed!
When you sign up to Cheeseposties, you can choose how often you would like to have one delivered and you can also let them know about any ingredients that you don’t like (vegetarians and nut allergies are catered for), as well as whether you would like to be sent savoury, sweet or a ‘bit of both’ flavours ( I’d recommend opting for the latter to get your tastebuds really excited!).
This month I was sent The Nutty Goat. I love Goat’s Cheese, so I was very excited to try this one!
Cheeseposties are delivered in letterbox friendly boxes and all of the ingredients are laid out in their own sections, as you can see above. The seals on the plastic pots are incredibly strong to prevent any accidents en route (I always have to take a knife to them to get inside), and the boxes are sent via 1st Class Royal Mail to ensure optimum freshness.
For The Nutty Goat Cheese Postie, I received the following ingredients:-
- Two slices of White Bread
- Two mini packs of Kerrygold Butter
- Goat’s Cheese
- Honey
- Walnuts
Now all you need to do is assemble and toast! I always make mine in a frying pan as I like how easy it is to fuse everything together that way, and you also get a nice golden brown colour on the toast, but you can pop yours in a toasting bag (enclosed) and put it straight into the toaster if you prefer. It’s delicious either way!
The end result – oh my this was good! Cheeseposties always nail it with their flavours and this combination of soft melted tangy Goat’s Cheese with a layer of sweet Honey and a sprinkling of Walnuts really worked together so well. I would definitely make this again!
There was also a lovely little freebie this month from Hoogly Tea, who included one of their Tea Pyramids – I got the Chill Out Mint Herbal Infusion which was delicious and a lovely accompaniment to the cheese toastie. Nice one Cheeseposties!
