You know you’re living in the golden age when you can purchase a cheese toastie subscription box! Cheeseposties are a fun and novel way to get your cheese fix delivered straight to your door and they offer an incredible range of flavours that will tantalise your taste buds in minutes. They provide everything all in one box for you to create the most amazing gourmet cheese toastie that you’ve ever tasted in your life, and you can choose how often you would like this wonderful creation delivered (weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc).
Each Cheesepostie flavour will be a surprise, but you can tell them about any ingredients that you don’t like, and they cater for vegetarians, as well as those with nut allergies. You can also choose whether you want to have Sweet, Savoury or a Bit Of Both flavours, and I always recommend going for the latter to get the best of everything!
Your Cheesepostie will arrive in a letterbox friendly box that’s sent via 1st class Royal Mail post to make sure that it’s as fresh as possible when it reaches its destination. All of the ingredients come separate in their own boxes, and the plastic lids are super strong to prevent any spillages or accidents during transit – as you can see, everything arrived in perfect condition!
This month, I received the Trois Couleurs flavour, which consists of:-
- Two slices of White Bread
- Two mini packs of Kerrygold Butter
- Stilton Cheese
- Raspberry Jam
- Black Pepper
Now all that’s left to do is make it! I decided to crumble the Stilton into pieces and spread the Raspberry Jam on the right half, finishing it off with a sprinkling of the Black Pepper. I folded it all together and popped it into the frying pan, flipping it over after a few minutes to get a lovely golden brown colour on each side. If you prefer, you can use the enclosed Toasting Bag – either way, you’re going to get a tasty result!
Stilton is one of my favourite cheeses so I already knew this was going to be a winner for me and I was really impressed by the quality of it. It gently melted together nicely and was complimented well by the sweet Raspberry Jam, plus that Black Pepper gave it a subtle little kick to finish it all off. The bread was excellent quality as always – absolutely delicious!
