Cozy Candles supplies a monthly box of delicious-smelling wax melts. They have two options, six large melts (Cosy Pods) in different scents for £14.99 a month, or 24 mini melts in four different scents for £9.99.
Usually I’d have a picture of the box here, but for some reason I forgot to take one before I opened it! Anyway, it’s a white box, quite large, but flat enough to fit through the mailbox. It’s also tied with yellow string. If you really want to see a picture you can find one on other reviews!
On top is the menu card. It lists this month’s six scents:
Amber Noir; Bonfire Night; Rhubarb & Rose; Spruce & Peppermint; Treacle Toffee; and Winter Honeysuckle.
The pods really are remarkably large! Each one is supposed to last for around 80 hours, so you could melt for 12 hours a day and still have a bit left at the end of the month. The scent is impressively strong, and they really do last a long time.
This is another nice seasonal selection, especially now it’s November and winter is definitely getting closer!
My favourite this month by far is the Treacle Toffee melt. It really does smell exactly like treacle toffee, which I adore, it reminds me of Bonfire Night!
The only one I’m not too keen on is the Spruce & Peppermint, but that’s because I don’t like the smell of pine or spruce unless it comes from the actual trees.
The rest smell great, especially Amber Noir, which would be perfect on a cold winter night, and Winter Honeysuckle.
As I said, these are pretty large, and they need to be broken into smaller pieces to fit into a lot of wax melters. This means you can actually combine scents to experiment with your own mixes. Pretty clever!
