Gin of the Month: Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers House Gin (70cl / 41.% ABV)
February’s gin comes all the way from the beautiful Barossa Valley in Australia and it’s won an array of awards including several Gold awards from Melbourne, London and the World Gin Masters – very impressive! Beautifully designed, this special House Gin is perfect for the Spring months ahead as it has a balanced and bright feeling and taste to it.
With its warm citrusy aroma, on the palate, it’s a fusion of botanicals which include Juniper, Coriander Seed, Angelica, Cinnamon, Pink Peppercorn, Borage, Liquorice Root, Chamomile, Elderflower, Blue Cornflower, Lavender, Orange and Grapefruit Zest. Sweet, fruity, herby and floral, it’s a sheer delight!
Mixers & Drinks: Artisan Drinks Amalfi Lime Tonics, Martin Frobisher’s Cranberry Juice & Soda Folk Grape
There’s a lovely selection of mixers and drinks to enjoy including two Amalfi Lime Tonics from the Artisan Drinks Co (try one of these for the Perfect G&T) and a bottle of Martin Frobisher’s Cranberry Juice which can be used to create February’s Cocktail Of The Month (recipe is in the GINNED! magazine).
