The popularity of Gin continues to grow and if you’re in the market for a gin-themed subscription box, you can’t go wrong with the Craft Gin Club. This incredible monthly box sends you a full-size bottle of artisan gin, alongside a whole range of goodies including premium tonics and mixers, soft drinks, cocktail garnishes and sweet and savoury snacks.
Delivery is free in the UK and you’ll also receive a copy of their fantastic GINNED! magazine which is packed full of exciting cocktail recipes, travel and culture features.
This month’s Craft Gin Club arrived last week and I’ve been really enjoying trying everything out!
Here’s what’s inside:-
Nelson’s Gluggle Jug Gin (70cl/40% ABV)
As a subscriber to Craft Gin Club, you’ll be treated to many exclusive artisan gins, and this month’s star is no exception. Members will be the first to sample Nelson’s Gluggle Jug Gin which has been specially developed in partnership with Craft Gin Club. This wonderfully unique gin comes packaged in an extra-special bottle which has been created by Wade Ceramics to celebrate the Staffordshire Potteries’ heritage of craftsmanship.
So what does this special gin taste like?
Bursting with a variety of botanicals such as Juniper, Green Cardamom, Sweet Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Hibiscus, Lime, Pink Peppercorn and Star Anise, this gin is described as smooth but lively, with bold flavours that are perfectly balanced. It has a typically clean and crisp London Dry gin flavour, but there are enough zesty, juicy notes and a medley of spices to keep things interesting. A truly beautiful gin for your collection!
Mixers: Folkington’s English Garden Tonic Waters
To create the perfect G&T, there’s a pair of Folkington’s English Garden Tonic Waters which are lovely and refreshing mixers with the Nelson’s gin above.
Extras: Summer Cup Syrup and Cucumber & Orange Slices
As optional extras to your G&T and to make some of the delicious drinks that are featured in this month’s GINNED! magazine, Craft Gin Club have included a small bottle of their Summer Cup Syrup and a packet of dried Cucumber and Orange Slices to add flavour and garnish to your Summer drinks.
Drinks: Cawston Press Rhubarb and Orchard Pioneers Red Apple Cider
Enjoy on their own or get creative and use these extra drinks in some exciting new cocktails! There’s a can of Cawston Press Rhubarb to get you in the mood for this popular seasonal fruit, and also a bottle of Orchard Pioneers Red Apple Cider which has a refreshing bitter sweetness to it.
Luxury Snacks: Kettle & Beetroot Slices in Goat’s Cheese & Caramelised Onion flavour and Beech’s Milk Chocolate
