Gin of the Month: Wardington’s Original Ludlow Gin – Elderflower, Chamomile & Lemon Verbena (70cl/42% ABV)
March’s chosen gin is another Limited Edition exclusive just for Craft Gin Club members. Established in 2018, Wardington’s Original Ludlow Gin has been winning awards ever since and now for the first time, you can try this new Elderflower, Chamomile & Lemon Verbena edition!
Described as classic and timeless, this juniper-rich gin is super-smooth and has just a hint of citrus which makes it feel very seasonal – it’s the perfect gin for Spring! With a light and refreshing flavour, it will conjure up the spring meadows of the Welsh Marches near where it’s hand-crafted in at the Shropshire Hills Distillery.
Mixers & Drinks: Buzbee’s Botanical Tonic Water (Classic and Passion Fruit), Turner Hardy & Co Feisty Spiced Tomato Mix and Flawsome! Apple & Rhubarb Drink
What a selection of mixers and drinks there are this month! For the perfect G&T, pair the Ludlow gin with one of Buzbee’s Premium Botanical Tonic Waters which are sweetened with a little honey – there’s the classic and Passion Fruit flavours to try out. For something different, try the Turner Hardy & Co Feisty Spiced Tomato Mix for a cocktail that will tantalise your taste buds, and there’s a complimentary can of Flawsome! Apple & Rhubarb drink to enjoy either on its own or mixed with your favourite gin in the Cocktail of the Month recipe.
Additional Garnishes: Spring Sling Cocktail Syrup and Grapefruit & Pink Peppercorn mix
