It’s the time of the month for a new Craftiosity review! I personally find crafting and DIY in general very relaxing so with all of the stress of lockdown, I needed a little time to destress with a new crafting project. If you or someone you know loves crafting then I cannot recommend the Craftiosity boxes enough. You can subscribe or you can buy a one, three, six or twelve month subscription as a gift.
The projects each month vary widely, from candles and bath bombs to tie dye, metal work, homeware and accessories so you are bound to discover new crafting projects, techniques and tools to use. The June 2020 box is a clay mobile crafting project which is something I never thought I’d make! Each box contains almost everything you need to create your item, apart from general items you should have at home already. Also, you can use some of the tools in each box for other projects and crafts.
I haven’t come across a mobile that looks like this so it was definitely a unique item to make and it was easy too. There were a couple of fiddly aspects of the project but it was an enjoyable and interesting craft project to focus on. Craftiosity have a useful step by step guide in each box and there are videos to follow as well, if you are struggling.
I did change mine a little as I painted some of the clay with a metallic gold paint and I’m very happy with it. I enjoyed the process and the instructions were easy to follow, even for someone who isn’t an amazing crafter, like me. It provided a great escape, thank you to the lovely people at Craftiosity box!
