This month’s Degustabox is absolutely packed full of food and drink products as parents get ready for their kids returning to school. There are also some great snacks that can be enjoyed on the go if you’re heading back to work.
Please note: We have been sent the PR Degustabox so your contents may be slightly different – we have pointed this out throughout the review.
Swisse Me Boost Me Mango Smoothie (RRP £1.80)
We could all use an extra energy boost to get us through the day which is where these handy Swisse Me Boost Me Smoothie packs come in. This one is called the Boost Me Mango Smoothie and features an energising blend of Apple, Carrot, Collagen, Magnesium and Turmeric, plus it has 6.1g of protein per serving.
Pick Up! Biscuits
Next, I found three different flavours of Pick Up! biscuits in Choco Hazelent, Milk Chocolate and Choco & Milk. These are really good and have thick slabs of chocolate in the middle – yum!
Drink Me Spiced Chai Latte
A free sample of Drink Me Spiced Chai Latte has been included in this month’s box for subscribers to try out. I’ve tried this before and really liked it, although it is quite sugary, it has a lot of flavour and is very comforting to drink before bedtime.
Master Cafe Iced Coffee Classico (RRP £1.50)
Coffee lovers will enjoy this tasty Master Cafe drink which comes in a range of different flavours – I found the Classico one in my box which is lovely. It has a silky texture to it but it isn’t overly sugary which is great to see.
Sunny Fruit Mix-Ups (RRP £2)
Perfect for kids lunchboxes, these Sunny Fruit Mix-Ups are snack-size packets of dried Strawberries & Sultanas. With no added sugar, they are a healthy fruity treat.
Swizzels Great British Puds Chew Bars (RRP £1)
Brand new from Swizzels, these Great British Puds Chew Bars are amazing! They taste just like the real thing surprisingly enough and are suitable for vegans – yay! I love the Rhubarb Crumble flavour the most. Strong teeth are recommended…!
Twinings Cold Infuse Watermelon, Strawberry & Mint (RRP £3.79)
These sugar-free, all-natural teabags make infusing water with lots of flavour super easy and are a clever way to get kids (and adults!) to drink more water. This Watermelon, Strawberry & Mint flavour is really refreshing and thirst-quenching too.
The Great British Porridge Co Blueberry & Banana (RRP £1.50)
A 100% natural instant porridge which is made in the UK, this dairy-free sachet is easy to use. Just add hot or cold water depending on your personal preference and enjoy a tasty gluten-free breakfast with no added sugar.
Boundless Activated Cayenne & Rosemary Seeds (RRP £1)
Sweet and spicy, these Activated Seeds from Boundless are a healthy snack alternative and full of flavour – they’re very moreish!
Trek Salted Caramel Protein Flapjacks (RRP £2.50)
A new flavour from Trek, these Salted Caramel Protein Flapjacks are amazing! Each one contains 9g of plant-based protein, they’re gluten-free and suitable for vegans. I will definitely be picking up another pack!
RXBAR Peanut Butter Chocolate (RRP £2.50)
Made from simple ingredients with nothing artificial, this RXBAR comes in a range of flavours and you’ll find one to try in your box this month. I loved the Peanut Butter Chocolate flavour which had just the right amount of sweetness.
Capsicana Mexican Chilli & Honey Cooking Paste (RRP £1.50)
Liven up meat and veggies with this tasty Mexican inspired Chilli & Honey Cooking Paste. It has a medium/mild strength so it’s not super hot but it has a delicious sweet and smoky flavour. Perfect for fajitas!
Simpleas Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar (RRP £1.09)
The last product in this month’s Degustabox is a bag of Simpleas which are made from 100% yellow peas. They’re a healthier snack alternative to regular crisps and have a light and crunchy texture. They’re also vegan friendly, gluten-free, high in protein and are only 88 calories per bag.
