Degustabox – February 2023: Home Comforts

Themed ‘Home Comforts’, this month’s Degustabox is another packed food and drink selection that the whole family can enjoy! Here’s what’s inside.

Aqua Libre Infused Sparkling Water Drinks (RRP £1.15 each)

Infused with only natural ingredients, these Aqua Libre drinks are made without any artificial so you won’t find any added sugars or sweeteners. Instead, you can enjoy a fresh, crisp and clean flavour and there are two to try in your Degustabox; Blood Orange & Mango, and my favourite Cucumber, Mint and Lime.

Zest Vegan Pasta Sauce (RRP £2.99)

Whether you are vegan or not, everyone can enjoy these tasty healthy pasta sauces that will help you whip up a weekday dinner in no time at all. I received the Vegan Tomato and Mas***pone Sauce and it’s so good!

Very Lazy Chilli Boost (RRP £3)

I’m a huge fan of the Very Lazy range because they are brilliant to have in your cupboard when you’re cooking. Super quick and easy to add to a dish, they save a lot of time and cleaning up! Here we have a jar of the new Chilli Boost, an oil-based condiment that’s blended with chillies. Add to pasta and rice meals for a little kick, or use as a dip with fries and pizza.

B.INK Red Blend Wine (RRP £2.50)

Every now and then, Degustabox will throw in a little alcohol into your box and I’m always happy to see it. This time around we have a small bottle of B.INK’s South Australia Red Blend to try out which is a super rich and full-bodied wine that has flavours of raspberries, oak and chocolate.

Tilda Golden Vegetable Rice (RRP £1.54)

The product of the month is a pouch of the brand new Golden Vegetable Rice from Tilda. Combining the finest grains with tasty carrots, sweetcorn and peas (21% veggies in total), this is a brilliant and versatile cupboard staple. Best of all, it’s ready in just two minutes!

Heinz Plant Based Tomato Soup (RRP £1.70)

I was pleased to see a can of the new Heinz Plant Based Tomato Soup after seeing a lot of ads for it online and this does not disappoint! It tastes incredibly similar to the original, just without the dairy. Delicious!

Heinz Beans and Vegan Sausages (RRP £2)

Likewise, I was curious to try the new Heinz Beans and Vegan Sausages after seeing so much hype and chat about them on social media. The beans are the classic kind anyway but the vegan sausages are really good! I’d definitely buy these again.

Bio & Me Gut Loving Porridge (RRP £1.50)

For a healthy breakfast, you can’t go wrong with an instant porridge for those busy mornings and this one from Bio & Me is one of the best that I’ve tried. Also 100% plant-based, it contains gut-friendly prebiotic fibres and lots of nutrients to keep your tum happy.

Simply Roasted Sea Salt Crisps (RRP £1.19)

Crisps are definitely a comfort snack for me and these ones from Simply Roasted are really amazing! Triple roasted, not fried, these crunchy, satisfying crisps are tossed with a little sea salt and certainly hit the spot.

KitKat Caramels (RRP £1.99)

Of course, no comfort box would be complete without some chocolate and here Degustabox have included a generous pack of KitKat Caramel fingers. Each pack is just 106 calories so they are great if you want something lighter to go with your cuppa.

Nestle Azera Americano (RRP £3.60)

Last, but not least, there’s a jar of the super premium barista-inspired coffee from Nestle Azera. The Americano blend helps you to make a smooth cup of joe at home – ideal for saving a bit of money in the mornings so you don’t have to visit an expensive coffee shop. Just mix, pour into a flask and away you go.
