With a picnic being one of the few permitted social occasions that many of us can currently enjoy, it’s great to see Degustabox embracing this with their picnic-themed box this month. As always, there’s an amazing selection of food and drink inside, so here’s a rundown of the contents for June!

Newman’s Own Italian Dressing & Dip (RRP £1.65)
Liven up a salad with this delicious Italian Dressing from Newman’s Own which can also be used as a tasty dip for veggies! Newman’s Own gives all profits after taxes to their not-for-profit foundation which is dedicated to helping out educational and charity organisations, so if you enjoy this bottle, you can feel good about buying another one!
Attack A Snack Chilli Heat Nachos Snack Kit (RRP £1.50)
The newest member of Attack A Snacks Nachos range, the Chilli Heat Snack Kit features a portion of crunchy spiced nachos, a smoky chipotle dip and a cooling sour cream and chive sauce. Simply open, assemble and dig in :)
Lizi’s Low Sugar and High Protein Granolas (samples)
Not really a picnic item (though you could serve them with a pot of yoghurt) but these two sample packs of Lizi’s Granola have certainly gone down a treat in my household. There’s a pack of the Low Sugar and the High Protein varieties to enjoy, both of which have been nutritionally balanced for a healthy start to your day.
NINE Seed Bars in Cocoa Orange and Salted Caramel (RRP £1.29)
New from NINE are these moreish Seed Bars which have lots of added health benefits thanks to a blend of Sunflower, Pumpkin and Sesame Seeds. They’re high in fibre, suitable for vegans, gluten and wheat-free, and provide a source of magnesium. You’ll find two flavours in your box to try out – Cocoa Orange and Salted Caramel, both are delicious!
Maynards Bassetts Superfruit Jellies (RRP £1)
Another new product, this time from Maynards Bassetts, these Superfruit Jellies come in a variety of mixed flavours including Papaya, Pomegranate, Blueberry and Cranberry. They have a higher fruit content with 30% fruit juice and a portion of six sweets provides 15% of your recommended intake of Vitamins C & E.
Olly’s Olives Basil & Garlic (RRP £1.50)
The finest Greek Halkidiki olives are dressed in a mouthwatering basil and garlic marinade for the ultimate olive snack sensations. Each pouch is less than 75 calories and with no messy oil present, they’re great for snacking on the go and of course, including in your next picnic hamper.
Barú Milk Chocolate Marshmallow Chai Latte Bar (RRP £1.69)
My favourite product in this month’s Degustabox is this amazing Marshmallow Bar from Belgian brand Barú. This gourmet bar features a sweet and chewy marshmallow centre which is smothered in creamy milk chocolate mixed with bourbon vanilla, mixed spices and honey for a chai latte flavour – mmmmmmmm!
Hippeas Organic Chickpea Puffs in Take It Cheesey (RRP £1)
I’m a big fan of Hippeas and love their Chickpea Puffs which are like healthy Wotsits. They’re vegan, gluten-free, high in fibre and are less than 90 calories, what’s not to love? This cheesy flavour always hits the spot when I want something savoury.
Le Joli Sparkling Scottish Raspberry Rhubarb and Mexican Lime Mint (RRP £1 each)
Le Joli specialises in sparkling water soft drinks which are infused with natural ingredients so you won’t find any artificial flavours, sweeteners or sugar in their products. This month, you can try two of their bestselling flavours and I really enjoyed both of them.
Gregory’s Tree Double Fruit Twists (RRP £0.69 each)
If you’re looking for a healthy sweet to chew on, these Double Fruit Twists from Gregory’s Tree tick a lot of the right boxes as they’re organic, gluten-free and contain no added sugar. In a tasty Blueberry & Raspberry flavour, you’ll find two packs in your Degustabox to try out.
Noisy Corn Jamaican Jerky flavour (RRP £1.49)
Add some fun to your snacking with these ‘Noisy Snacks’. Noise is described as the secret ingredient because every time you shake the packet, you’ll activate even more flavour – clever!
Blossom Hill Rhubarb Gin Fizz (RRP £9)
The last product in this month’s Degustabox is perhaps the star of the show – a big bottle of Blossom Hill Rhubarb Gin Fizz which is the perfect picnic drink! A bubbly blend of wine is infused with Rhubarb and real Gin for a refreshing and fruity taste of Summer. Pop in a slice of orange or lemon and serve chilled.
