May’s Degustabox celebrates the warmer months ahead with an exciting BBQ & Snacking theme! There’s a lot packed into this monthly food & drink subscription box as always, so let’s take a closer look at what’s inside, shall we?

Beronia Rioja Crianza 2016 (RRP £2.99)
Made predominantly from Tempranillo grapes which are complemented by Garnacha and Mazuelo, this Crianza from Beronia is a delicious Spanish red wine that’s intensely fruity with notes of Blackberry, Strawberry, Vanilla and mixed Spices. It’s aged in wooden barrels for 12 months before being bottled and is a real treat to brighten up your weekend!
Bull’s Eye Original BBQ Sauce (RRP £2.49)
No barbeque is complete without a good quality BBQ sauce and this one from Bull’s Eye is their popular original recipe from 1985. It’s sweet, smokey and goes perfectly with meats and veggie/vegan substitutes.
Hellman’s Fat-Free Vinaigrette and Classic House Salad Dressing (RRP £1.65 each)
An easy way to liven up a salad is with a tasty dressing and these two from Hellman’s really hit the spot! Try the Fat-Free Vinaigrette on a Greek Salad to add loads of peppery flavour or why not drizzle the Classic House Salad Dressing over some plain mixed leaves to serve with your main meal?
Hartley’s Juicy Jelly Pouches in Squeezy Strawberry (RRP £2.79)
Treat the kids to one of these new Hartely’s Juicy Jelly Pouches which are super fun to eat! Each pouch features the nation’s favourite jelly which is made with real fruit juice and with each pack being under 100 calories, it’s a guilt-free snack to enjoy.
Yes! Snacks Bars in Dark Choc, Banana & Pecan (RRP £2.99)
Looking for a healthier snack to beat those afternoon cravings? Try one of these Yes! Fruit & Nut Bars which are wrapped in paper instead of plastic and come in a variety of moreish flavours. You’ll find one of two packs in your Degustabox this month – which one did you receive?
Mission Street Tacos in Mex Chilli & Lime and Original (RRP £1.20 each)
Deliciously soft tacos are always a hugely popular food item to serve at a barbeque and these ones from Mission Street come in different flavours – you’ll find one pack of Original and one pack of Mex Chilli & Lime to try out. Fill them with whatever you fancy – the options are endless and there are serving suggestions on each pack if you need a helping hand.
Barebells Hazelnut & Nougat Protein Bar (RRP £2.50)
Ideal to consume after a run or home workout session, these Barebells Protein Bars contain a whopping 20 grams of protein and also have no added sugar. Available in a range of flavours, you’ll find the Hazelnut & Nougat Bar in your Degustabox this month to enjoy – it’s delicious!
XITE Energy Drinks (RRP £1.49 each)
Keep your energy levels up the natural way with these innovative drinks from XITE. Using only natural ingredients, these caffeine, ginseng and vitamin-enriched cans are a healthier alternative to regular energy drinks and they taste really good too – I especially liked the fruity Berry flavour and I’m happy to see that they’re zero sugar too.
Skinny Tonic Indian and Mediterranean (RRP £0.75 each)
Treat your favourite gin to a Skinny Tonic! You’ll find two flavours in your Degustabox – the classic Indian which is a botanical blend of Sicilian Lemmon, Bitter Orange and Thyme, and the Mediterranean – a botanical blend of Fresh Citrus, Thyme, Floral and Sweet Basil notes.
Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Bar (RRP £0.85)
Last, but not least, there’s a Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Bar to enjoy. I absolutely love these and the super smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture is the perfect way to savour some special ‘me time’ at the end of the day!
