Every month, subscribers to Degustabox receive a box full of food and drink goodies to enjoy and explore. The contents are always a surprise, but it’s brilliant value for money and a fun way to try something new!
This month’s box is themed BBQ and Garden Party and contains all of the following products:-
Free From Fellows Vegan Vanilla Mallows (RRP £1.99)
The first product that I picked up is a packet of Free From Fellows Vegan Vanilla Mallows. These are suitable for vegans and contain only natural colours and flavours. They’re good!
VIP Nuts Hot Chilli (RRP £1.50)
Next up, we have some gourmet VIP Nuts in a Hot Chilli flavour. These are the perfect match to any cold drink and this flavour has a lovely spicy kick.
LoveRaw Salted Caramel Wafer Bar (RRP £1.89)
You can probably tell by the packaging that these are similar to a well known other brand… (you’re right if you guessed Kinder Bueno!). The difference is that these are suitable for vegans as they are dairy free and there’s also no palm oil. The filling is a delicious creamy salted caramel flavour – yum!
Eat Water Slim Noodles Pad Thai (RRP £4.99)
For a low fat and gluten-free lunch or dinner option, you can’t go wrong with these Eat Water Slim Noodles. Ready in less than two minutes in the microwave, they’re ideal for weight loss plans and have no artificial ingredients. This pack is Pad Thai flavour and there are lots of others to choose from.
Slow Rustic Rolls (RRP £1.65)
Bread items pop up every now and then in the Degustaboxes and these Slow Rustic Rolls have been prepared with sourdough and uses only 100% organic and natural ingredients. Pop them in the oven for freshly baked crunchy rolls any time of the day.
The Sweet Botanist Mindful Mint (RRP £3.50)
With 30mg of CBD per pack, these Mindful Mints from The Sweet Botanist are an interesting range of plant-based sweets to help improve your mood and wellbeing. Perfect for holidays and weekends away.
Carr’s Italian Herbs Melts (RRP £1.69)
Carr’s Melts are a dinner party must-have and their delicious Italian Herbs flavour pairs well with cheeseboards and glasses of wine.
Pea Pops Cheddar & Onion (RRP £1.85)
Made from chickpeas, Pea Pops are a healthier, low fat alternative to regular crisps and they have a really satisfying crunch to them. I’m a big fan of this Cheddar & Onion flavour.
Geo Watkins Mushroom Ketchup (RRP £2)
Now this is interesting – a mushroom ketchup?! Full of deep and powerful unami flavours, it adds a punch to any dish and can be splashed into pasta, pies, gravies, stews and stir fries – pretty much everything!
Gunna Turtle Juice Tropical Lemonade (RRP £1.10)
Inspired by a Mango Daiquiri recipe from St Lucia, Turtle Juice a refreshing tropical soft drink packed with juicy Mangoes, zingy Limes and a hint of Coconut.
Echo Falls Merlot (RRP £2)
I was pleased to see a mini bottle of Merlot from Echo Falls included in this month’s box. This smooth mix of blackberry and plum flavours has a hint of oak to finish it off.
Bull’s Eye New York Steakhouse BBQ Sauce (RRP £2)
Finally, the last product is a bottle of Bull’s Eye New York Steakhouse BBQ Sauce. This is quite different to a traditional steakhouse BBQ sauce as it’s more of a relish condiment with pieces of pepper and onions, though it does have that sweet smokiness that you would expect.
