Everyone’s favourite food and drinks subscription box are back with its latest box of goodies for the whole family to enjoy! September’s Degustabox is packed to the brim and themed ‘Family Sharing & Home Cooking’, so let’s see what’s inside.
Hartley’s Strawberry Jelly Pots (RRP £0.55 per pot)
To help you get back into the school routine, these ready-made jelly pots from Hartley’s feature their classic Strawberry flavour and offer good value for money in a handy pack of three. Suitable for vegetarians and made with no artificial colours or flavours.
Riso Gallo Risotto Rice (RRP £2.29)
Offering the best Italian Risotto Rice which is sourced from selected Italian rice fields, Riso Gallo’s storecupboard staple is plump and stubby rice with a high starch content that transforms into a gentle creaminess whilst retaining its bite. Delicious in so many different recipes.
Alpen Protein Bars in Berries & Yoghurt and Chocolate (RRP £2.69 for a pack for 5)
New from Alpen, be one of the first to try these delicious Protein Bars which help to keep you full for longer. With all the great taste that you can expect from Alpen, there is a range of flavours to discover including these two: Berries & Yoghurt and Chocolate. I really like the latter!
Lucozade Zero Orange & Pink Lemonade Litre Bottles (RRP £1.99 each)
In your Degustabox, you’ll find one of these flavours of Lucozade’s new Zero range to try, either classic Orange or Pink Lemonade. Both have the unmistakable taste of Lucozade but without the sugar, which is great to see.
Nestle Milkybar Buttons (RRP £0.55 each)
For when you do want to satisfy a sweet craving, these small bags of Milkybar Buttons are loved by many and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Epicure Zhoug Pesto (RRP £2.99)
Liven up mealtimes with a different kind of pesto! Inspired by popular world flavours, Epicure’s range has something for everyone and are super easy to use – simply stir through pasta or rice, or brush over meat and veggies as a marinade for plenty of flavour. There are five pestos to discover and I received Zhoug – a spicy one with Coriander and Green Chilli – it’s delicious!
Appy Kids Co Raspberry Yummy Bakes (RRP £1)
Keep the kids happy with these Raspberry flavoured Yummy Bakes which are made from real fruit and fortified with fibre for a filling breakfast or lunchbox option. Free from palm oil, artificial colours, preservatives and flavours.
Eisberg Alcohol-Free Sparkling Rosé (RRP £4)
Taking part in Go Sober For October or just looking for an alcohol-free alternative? This Sparkling Rosé from Einsberg is made from quality wine that has the alcohol content removed which means that it’s only 33 calories per 125ml glass. I was surprised by how good this is!
Chum Fruit Bites in Berry & Peach (RRP £0.79 each)
Made from 100% fruit with nothing else added, these snack packs of fruit bites are vegan-friendly, non-GMO, gluten-free and count as 1 of your 5 a day so they’re great for kids lunchboxes. 15% of their profits is also donated to wildaid.org to help save wild animals too.

For when you’re having a busy week, this Very Lazy Garlic Paste is a brilliant product to have in your cupboard to instantly add a boost of garlic to any dish. Perfect for quick and easy pasta dishes that will please the whole family!
Boka Cereal Bar in Caramel and Choco Mallow (RRP £0.79 each)
Boka Cereal Bars are unique in that they have four green traffic lights as they are low in sugar, fats, salt and under 100 calories per bar. Ideal as a snack treat at any time of the day, they are a healthier option for both adults and kids lunchboxes. The Caramel and Choco Mallow flavours are great too!
