Every month when the time comes to receive my Geek Gear box I love the anticipation of not knowing what items I will discover in the box, and that is half the appeal I feel as each box is unique. Expect to find 5-10 geeky/gamer goodies in each monthly box for £19.99 and Geek Gear value each monthly box at between £40-£60. Every box will have a cotton t-shirt with graphics of the theme of the box and I feel this adds a little something extra and certainly adds value considering the price of an average logo t-shirt. This month the theme was ‘Super’ and with 8 super goodies inside the box it offered plenty of variety.
If you like ice-cubes in your cold drinks look no further as there was an Ironman ice cube tray in rich red included in the box, perfect for ice-cubes of course but also for jelly or chocolate too. It was so unexpected and unique and I love this unusual addition which you can use in more than one way – the ice cubes look really special though! Next out were the Bioworld socks in either Captain America or Batman, I received the Captain America socks and they are bright and colourful as you would expect and another very unique addition.
Superman had to feature in this ‘Super’ box and the Superman window sticker is bright, colourful and would look great on any window or mirror. Also from Superman in every box there was a Lanyard in blue or black (I received the black) handy for keys/keyrings/college entry cards etc. different, colourful and useful. On to the exclusives and the first from Geek Gear was the Flash drawstring bag, another useful item following the ‘Super’ theme. The very wearable exclusive Spider-man t-shirt is so bright and although just two bold colours (red and black) the design really stands out.
From DC Comics a Superhero Wristband in two different designs (one in each box) – mine has already been claimed by my daughter! Lastly one for the wall in the form of the Ironman Art Print with bold graphics again and a piece of art to frame and add to any wall to brighten a room. So there you have it another month from the Geek Gear team and it’s a really good month full of unique additions to add to your collection, and if you think this was good wait until the next box as the theme is “Villain” so it’s set to be a great one.
