It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Geek Gear Wizardry box, but as a huge Harry Potter fan I’m thrilled to see it back!
Quick overview: it costs £24.99 per month, with longer subscriptions costing less.
It promises every box contains a t-shirt and exclusive print, plus at least four other magical items. I’m happy to see that they offer kids’, unisex, and women’s t-shirt sizes.
The box comes in a mailing bag, but all the padding material, including the box, is cardboard and paper, and recyclable.
This month’s t-shirt has this fun ‘I solemnly swear that I am up to no good’ design which you’ll recognize as the phrase used to make the Marauder’s Map appear.
I like how the wider design incorporates symbols from all four houses, as well as an owl and other Potter-related items.
Geek Gear shirts are always 100% cotton!
This is a Death Eater Print, and is both a licensed design and exclusive to Geek Gear. Pretty creepy!
Every Potter fan loves wands, and this is a Vetus Lignum Wand made my Unique Wands exclusive to Geek Gear. There’s a card included which describes the magical wand materials (though it’s actually made from resin). It’s not based on any particular character, but the materials are consistent with the magic properties of materials in the Potter universe. This is a great display item, or or for cosplay!
This is a little metal bookmark. It has a lovely selection of Potter symbols, including and owl, a Snitch, a lightning bolt, and even Hogwards itself. A great way to keep your place in whichever Potter book you’re currently reading.
This is a beautiful print by Kevin Cantwell, signed by the artist. The paper is nice quality, and it’s a fantastic picture of Fawkes.
Another exclusive item, this is a Love Potion Bottle. It’s not actual love potion of course, it’s red glitter. But the bottle looks very nice indeed in the heart shape complete with specially designed box.
Finally, some Phoenix Tears Tea. It’s actually a fruity peach white tea, but nice and refreshing as a cuppa to accompany your reading time. With this recent hot weather it would work very nicely as an iced tea as well.
A quick look at the menu.
What a great selection this month! I especially like the t-shirt, and the bookmark will make a nice change from my usual torn bits of paper.
I like the decorative items very much, the Fawkes print is especially striking, and having it signed is a lovely touch.
