GeekGear is a company which sends out boxes full of geeky awesomeness! It costs £19.99 per month, and ships worldwide.
The box itself comes in a mailing bag, so no messy stickers.
The menu leaflet includes descriptions and RRPs.
This is one of two possible versions, a Captain America Torso Backpack (RRP£19.99). The other design option was Iron Man.
It’s a nice basic pack, with a zipped main compartment and a smaller zip picket on the front.
This time one of four possible options, a DC Comics Mug (RRP £6.99). You can never have too many mugs!
You can jazz up bags or clothes with these Marvel Iron On Patches (RRP £5.99).
They’re not the embroidered kind, more like printed fabric. But they’re nice and thick and the designs are nice and retro.
This is a cool vintage-style Incredibles 2 print (RRP £4.99) Perfect timing for the release of the new movie!
This is amazing, a Star Wars Collectible Coin (RRP £14.99) The box had either the gold or silver version, and this one is gold.
It’s a Limited Edition of just 1000 coins, and each one is individually numbered. A real collector’s item.
Finally, this month’s t-shirt (RRP £9.99) also features the Incredible Family! Perfect for heading to the movies. And it’s 100% cotton.
The mug is fun, though nothing spectacular. The vintage-y design is very similar to those of the patches, which are definitely fun to have.
The backpack is nice, though I’m slightly sad not to get the Iron Man version, as Captain America isn’t my favourite Marvel character.
I’m really happy the shirt is 100% cotton! The print is actually fun, I do like the retro styling.
The standout item this month is the coin. What an amazing thing to have. I’m extra pleased to have got the gold version, though I would have been happy to have the silver!
The value as always is excellent. I think the RRP of £19.99 for the backpack is pushing it a little, as it’s a pretty basic design, but even so, licensed items aren’t cheap. But for less than £25 for all this is fantastic. I also like that there isn’t a theme to these boxes, it’s just cool stuff. The franchises are always excellent, and they’re really good at getting items related to upcoming or recent movie releases.
