GeekGear have a duo of subscription boxes on offer every month, you can either subscribe to the GeekGear box or to the GeekGear Harry Potter subscription box – or both. As with the main GeekGear box it’s full of quality products and each box contains a t-shirt so be sure to add in your dress size so you take advantage and get plenty of wear out of every monthly t-shirt. The Harry Potter themed GeekGear monthly box will have 5-10 items in each month and of course be perfect for any Harry Potter devotee, it would also make the perfect gift idea for any Harry Potter fan. If you already subscribe to GeekGear’s sister subscription box then the cost for the Harry Potter GeekGear box is £19.99, if not then it is £24.99 each month.
On to the September box and the first item that caught my eye was the fabulous Lord Voldemort Replica Wand with a certificate of authenticity card, the ideal addition to any die-hard Harry Potter collection. It’s heavier that I thought it would be and as we are a household of Harry Potter fans we are already squabbling over who will own it! Next the perfect monochrome Harry Potter t-shirt with ‘Ollivanders Makers Of Fine Wands Since 382BC Diagon Alley’ on the front, so wearable and great cotton quality.
Next a boxed Deathly Hallows necklace on a chain with a turnable central piece and while not terrific quality is very pretty on. I say not great quality as it’s not got much weight to it and also the central inner circle should turn but mine is really stiff and unable to turn fully. When you subscribe another preference you will be asked for is which Hogwarts house you support and this will determine many of the items included in subsequent subscription boxes, don’t’ forget to chose your favourite to make the most of the special additions throughout the year.
In September’s box based upon which Hogwarts house you support is the Hogwarts House Badge to add to your bag/jacket or anywhere you choose. Tempting to want them all as they look great! Next quite a magical addition in the form of two Hogwarts Acceptance Letters, I love these as you can personalise them to whoever you want to receive them and they would look amazing framed and put on the wall to enjoy. You can also post it as included with the two letters is an envelope to send them off. One for the wall next an Azkaban Print with ‘Visit Azkaban Prison Home If The Wizarding World’s Most Dangerous Witches & Wizards’ printed on with beautiful illustrations, it looks great framed and is on good quality card.
The Marauder’s Map is next in the box and it’s a beautiful replica of the iconic map from The Prisoner Of Azkaban which opens as it appeared in the film in a concertina with an additional feature to the map in the centre. It’s a lovely touch to include such a mixture of items and lastly is the Hogwarts Tea Towel so drying the dishes will never be dull! I’m still dubious to use this Hogwarts tea towel as I don’t want to ruin it!
Another month of fabulous Harry Potter treats which leaves you wondering what will be in the next monthly instalment and don’t forget to check on GeekGear’s social media platforms for all the information about upcoming boxes and giveaways.
